25.01.2022 MHPA were invited to the 5th Ramadan Iftar dinner hosted by Ambulance Victoria on Thursday 6th May. The event was attended by President Shiraz Mahkri and Shumaila Panhwar from the Executive committee. Sh Alaa El Zokm gave the adhan and recited verses of the Quran. The keynote speech was given by Dr Omar Baarini who enlightened us with his experiences volunteering as a healthcare worker in Palestine and Lebanon. Iftar gave us the opportunity to share our culture with Ambulance Victoria, and to increase our understanding and respect for one another. We're already looking forward to next year's event. Thank you Ambulance Victoria!
