25.01.2022 On Fridays we have a little Mumma & Maddy day - usually we start off with breakfast then head to the studio for a workout sometimes they aren’t always successful, but that’s life - it is important that we do thing that make us feel good! And bonus teaching the kids healthy habits early, we don’t realise how much the learn so fast



25.01.2022 WARM UP! Before any exercise it is important to warm up your muscles. Not only does it help prevent injury, but also helps with activation of muscles that may be a little lazy and need a little help! Here we are using mini resistant bands to get those glutes firing

24.01.2022 12 months ago I celebrated my birthday in hospital with this little newborn angel now I get to bring her to train with me and have laughs a plenty - I love setting a healthy example for my little bubba and seeing other kids joining in with their parents workouts do your kids join in with your workouts?



24.01.2022 Pregnancy & Fitness I was incredibly fortunate to be able to train comfortably and safely for the duration of my pregnancy. With prior knowledge already being put into practise with other clients, it was wonderful to be able to make the journey aswell. - Before training pregnant women I made sure to get my certificates and confidently guide women through their pregnancy safely and strongly. - It is a time where safety takes priority and you should be looking to maintain ...your fitness rather than hitting PB’s - By being silly and trying to do too much or expect your body can handle super heavy workouts can cause harm not only the baby, but create long term problems for mama - Make SURE you are training correctly or find someone who can guide you, Instagram fitness influencers don’t count girls - get a second opinion. 22.01.2022 Do you prefer group fitness or to train solo? I enjoy either really, sometimes it is nice to put the headphones on and get in the zone - whilst other times group fitness can awaken that competitive edge and spark motivation! I want to hear from you - Leave a for solo training or a for group fitness!

20.01.2022 Posted @withregram @mia.allen.08 Almost 5 years ago I decided it was my turn to do a fitness competition I gave it every little ounce of my being and sacrificed SO MUCH to be this girl... I prepped for 12 weeks, measured out every chicken breast, completed my workouts and just gave it my absolute all. Yes my body transformed insanely through this process and I dropped about 10-12kgs Since this time so much has changed and over the years my goals have changed. - My cur...rent goal is to have a healthy happy lifestyle that I can maintain and feel strong! Doing a competition really opened my eyes and I learnt that being the skinniest/leanest person not only made me unhappy but also effected those around me. - I am so thankful for the many processes and challenges throughout my life to be the person I am today through these processes it has helped me become a better trainer and really understand and relate to my clients on a deeper level Thankyou so much for your ongoing support and friendship @ Forever Fitnation See more

14.01.2022 Abdominal Separation - although aesthetically my stomach has flattened since giving birth to my daughter, she was a big bubba at 4.1kg and 55cm so my abdominals were really pushed to their limits! I have ALMOST gotten them back together, patience and persistence is key here! Take it slow and make sure to do your rehab work

10.01.2022 One of my favourite booty/leg exercises - parallel box goblet squats keep conscious of your tempo and making sure not to overextend and push your hips forward, send the booty back and get down low!

I thank my lucky stars that I know I have an epic support network of family and friends to lean on when I am not having my best day. In the past I have let things fester, panic and anxiety attacks, depression and horrible body issues that would send me into a downward spiral although I kept on a brave face. Of course injury or medical conditions need to be cleared by their relative practitioners before training can start But by enlisting the help of a trained professional and getting educated on what you can do to rehab and work to your strengths in other areas can not only help the physical, but your mental health too @brooke_kelaart has been training lower body once a week + her busy active job whilst she is doing rehab work for a hand injury

04.01.2022 5 years ago #flashback to competition training compliance to my nutrition and determination to hit my end goal was how I was able to get through this tough time! Nowadays I have a more flexible approach to my nutrition, however am looking forward to the last 8 week RESET Challenge of 2020! Who is joining me?

03.01.2022 Just had a bub and not sure what to do getting back into your fitness routine? It is always best to consult a professional if you are unsure.. not all exercise is appropriate for post partum mamas straight away and may need some rehab!

03.01.2022 37 weeks VS 11 months postpartum I trained consistently during pregnancy and was able to design a safe program to be able to do this. I certainly didn’t jump straight back into exercise, starting slowly with walking and working my way up to using weights again and incorporating plyometrics & hiit training. Due to abdominal separation I also had to be very careful with abdominal work and still am working on building strength in this area. - No two stories are similar, my next experience may be completely different! But it is so important to have someone in your corner to guide you through this special time

She had been cleared by the correct health professionals to get stuck into her training and the results show.
