22.01.2022 Congratulations to all of our students who swam yesterday at the District Swimming Carnival. Miallo came 2nd overall with 147 points. Congrats to Rochelle and Tyler for taking out Age Champion and Raiden, Reilly, Zammi and Zeke for taking a place in the runner ups. We are very proud of you.

21.01.2022 Soccer News Some of our boys were part of the Douglas Soccer Team to represent our Region in the Jamie Gosling Soccer Tournament. On Tuesday the Under 10 team competed and did a fabulous job coming in 3rd overall. On Wednesday the Under 12 team competed and made it to the Grand final coming in Runner Up with a score of 2 to 1. Fantastic effort by all boys! Congratulations to Lewis Marano who won best player of the tournament out of 200 kids. Pretty impressive! Well done Lewis and well done to all the players who competed.

20.01.2022 A huge thankyou to Quicksilver and the crew of WaveDancer for our amazing trip to Low Isles last Tuesday. With near perfect weather conditions and the boat and island essentially all to ourselves, our year 6 students enjoyed one of the best days of their lives! Highlights included snorkling with turtles and sharks, a mouth-watering lunch, guided tours with Glen the Marine Biologist and relaxing tunes under sail on the return trip. Well done Quicksilver, and many thanks from a grateful student group at Miallo State School!

Flexischools allows you to easily place all your canteen orders online at any time. 1. Download the Flexischools App Note: for iPhone and iPad please select ‘Allow’ notifications. 2. Add your School and Group Click on the search icon, enter your school name, select your school and year group, or groups relevant to you. 3. Login/Register Click the ‘Order now’ button located in the bottom right-hand corner of the app, this will open a login screen. Already a Flexischools user - Enter your details and login. To save your login details select ‘remember me’. New Flexischools user - Click ‘Register’, enter your email address and follow the instructions in the email to set up your account. Once your account is set up, add new student; search for our school, enter student details and select their class. We hope this step forward will support families with a more convenient and efficient process of placing canteen orders.

01.01.2022 Good morning, Just to let you all know that Cheyne and I will be picking up the cookie dough orders on Monday from Cairns and will have them ready for collection at the school hall at 3pm Monday. Please come and collect your entire orders as we do not have enough freezer room to store them. The prizes may not have arrived by Monday as they are couriered separately, but the prizes will be sorted and given out next week once they have arrived.
