02.01.2022 FARM MATE www.myfarmmate.com.au What is a Farm Mate?... A Farm Mate is basically a mid sized multipurpose electric cart that can be fitted out with appropriate accessories to enable it to be used in a very broad range of applications. These range from golf to semi rural properties (there are reported to be over 60,000 in Australia with the majority being around 5 acres in the old terms) through to numerous commercial applications including maintenance/mobility units for institutions such as larger schools and colleges, nurseries, lifestyle villages. The Farm Mate should not be confused with the larger conventional noisy fuel powered ATV's that are designed for heavier work. The Farm Mate is a Light Utility Vehicle that is more suited to the smaller end of the market as it is a comfortable, quiet, pollution free, manouverable and very easy unit to operate. The Farm Mate is controlled by just one foot pedal which controls the power and braking making it easy for almost all ages to drive. It is fitted with head/tail and turning indicator lights, a horn and has a maximum speed of 14Km/hour. The speed and sensitivity can be adjusted to suit the needs of the operator if required. It has a comfortable double seat and can be fitted with a "Flip seat" at the back which provides a double seat giving the ability to carry 4 persons. The seat can be flipped over to become a work tray. Other optional accessories include a tow bar, an attachment to pull multiple wheelie bins and a fixed work tray.
