12.01.2022 Do my qualifications "date me" or is cpd sufficient to maintain my currency So when did you get your degree? lets have a competition, lol I became a member of Society in Nov 1980, gee that makes me feel old 4 stars coming up soon!... I have a degree, a couple of post grads, many certs & registrations etc But an asqa internal auditor reported I needed to get a new qual by doing an rpl in accounting I teach the damn stuff for pete's sake- I do that much cpd every month/week & I am a fellow whinge over - but have you considered about the currency of your qualifications & are you up to date? On the inside i am 25? its the outside thats rusty - are your qualifications rusty too? so here's a fundamental question - does cpd retain the currency of your original qualifications OR do you need to complete a new degree/diploma every 5-10 years as a form of cpd? Personally I believe the purpose of cpd is to MAINTAIN your professional currency - continuously refreshing
