25.01.2022 Throw back to @ifbbproleagueoz March 2020. I was extremely happy with my carbing up approach and my general prep but it was clear that I wasn’t lean enough. Previous contests I nailed conditioning but not didnt achieve muscle fullness. This is the delicate process we call ‘peak week’. Hopefully next time I manage to create the perfect storm! . . Sponsors @pranaon

25.01.2022 Scales starting to climb again. All part of the plan. Fresh outta bed at 113kg/248lbs. Couple more kgs and then hold weight and begin dialling in for contest prep March 2021.

24.01.2022 #teammetamorphasize . . 2 month transformation from my client @jameschristopherr_ .... . Perfect example of when hardwork, genetics and good applied sport science comes together in perfect union! Right from the beginning I could see the potential in James, a very good mentality towards true failure and a positive approach to a healthy lifestyle change. . . Particularly impressive is the sheer quantity of muscle you have built and fat you have lost in such a short period of time! Truly, I am speechless! If this is what we have been able to achieve in 2 short months, I’m super excited to see what the future brings! . . Left Photo: Weight: 93kg . . Right Photo: Weight: 97kg . . 24.01.2022 Thank you to my wife @judyelasticdancetastic for this pretty cool comparison to motivate me as I head into the beginning of contest prep! . . A look into the past to hopefully have insight into my future... .... . Photo Above (March 2018) - 90kg/198lbs Photo Below (October 2019) - 100kg/220lbs 18 months apart . . October 2019 - 100kg/220lbs March 2021 - ??? 18 months apart . . I would be overjoyed if I am able to replicate what I gained in previous years. Hoping to weigh in at around 110kg/242lbs pre carbed up! See more

24.01.2022 Couple more weeks and then I’ll start training light work on abs. Iv said it before and I’ll say it again, even though it’s a much heated debate and highly controversial in the fitness community! . . Avoid training abs or activating abs for as long as possible to keep the waist small. This means; no direct abs work, no heavy non isolation compounds (Squats & Deadlifts) and no bloating/getting ‘bulky’ in the offseason. .... . Many may disagree with me on this and of corse we’re all open to have our own opinion but to me it makes zero sense to do direct abs work (even more so with weight) unless you are: . . - Compromised with core integrity. - Need midsection strength, specific to the movement/sport. - Avoiding or fixing an injury/issue for example; lower back pain and loss of bladder control. 21.01.2022 My old man used to say this to me - ‘We all have the same 24 hours a day, it’s what you do with them that counts’. I have been asked recently a few times, so here it is, this is a typical week for me: 60 working hours. ... 42 training hours. 42 sleeping hours. 24 remaining ‘free’ hours. Total 168 hours (24x7) It’s about priorities... More = More. You get out, what you put in. It has and always will be this way. - Photo Credit @7eight6media - March 2018

21.01.2022 #teammetamorphasize . . 6 week transformation from my client @tyrone___ .... I speak, he listened. Literally to everything. No wining or complaining. Simply got the job asked of him, done! . I am extremely happy with Tyrone and I couldn’t of asked for a more dedicated client. If this is what has been achieved in such a short period of time, excited is an understatement! Really looking forward to smashing further future goals and seeing his true potential, LETS GET IT! . 18.01.2022 Around 15 weeks out of the first @ifbbproleagueoz contest of 2021. Having to really focus on the long game as I would love to start the official cutting down SHREDZ mode but for optimum growth this is around the correct bodyfat percentage for me. . . Current weight is approximately 250lbs/113.5kg. .... . My plans for next year (if Covid allows) is to compete several times beginning March through to the December. Hence why the slow and steady approach wins the race. See more

18.01.2022 I don’t know what’s more impressive. The lighting in this toilet or the two toilet rolls for maximum wiping

15.01.2022 Who’s this wearing a shirt? And a dress? Not in gym wear? Seriously, what is going on? .... getting to be a regular thing dolling up on a weekend to sit in a locked down house still though, we are the life and soul of the P.A.R.T.Y!

13.01.2022 I have put a lot of focus on my delt development over last 2 years. It was clear when I last stepped on stage that I was lacking the 3 dimensional ‘pop’ from each head of the deltoids needed for Mens Classic Physique. It was especially clear on my side and rear deltoids. . . On average I have been hitting delts 5x a week, consistently apply progressive overload to both isolation and compound. I feel soon I will be at the stage in my development where I can dial down training ...on these areas and place this time towards other lagging muscles. . . When I next step on stage I will have a more clear picture of what next needs my next focus. See more

13.01.2022 Low carb breakfast. High Protein Pancakes from my sponsors @evelynfayenutrition A.M.A.Z.I.N.G !!!

12.01.2022 ‘’Doctor doctor, when I press on my arm it hurts, when I press on my leg it hurts even when I press on my chest it hurts’’. ‘’Ah’’, the doctor said, ‘’I see you’ve got a broken finger’’.

12.01.2022 Throw back to this time last year! Crazy what has happened in 12 short months. Can’t wait to hit the @ifbbproleagueoz stage and to be starving 24/7 with @judyelasticdancetastic . . Best experience ever dieting and suffering together, March 2021 will be another amazing journey!

12.01.2022 It’s official! @ifbbproleagueoz have announced next years Season A contest dates. Currently I’m approximately 10 weeks out... here we go again! Stay tuned

11.01.2022 Patiently waiting... Contest Prep for 2021 starts real soon @ifbbproleagueoz . . Fuelled by @pranaon

10.01.2022 Why did the bodybuilder borrow a dictionary? . . Because he wanted to know how to define muscle

09.01.2022 It’s the new year so it’s time to set some new goals (I say new but it’s been the same goals I have had for many years)! . . 1 - Win my IFBB Pro Card in either Open Men’s Classic Physique or Open Men’s Physique. .... . 2 - Win a Pro Show or/and qualify for Mr Olympia. . . 3 - Compete but more importantly be competitive on the Mr Olympia stage. Ultimately my goal is to stand shoulder to shoulder with the worlds best. . . 4 - Become a positive advocate of health and bodybuilding. Maintaining around 8% body-fat all year around whilst still progressively building muscle. See more

08.01.2022 How did you build the muscle? HEAVY WEIGHT How are you going to keep the muscle? HEAVY WEIGHT How are you going to progressively build muscle? ... HEAVY WEIGHT . . It has never made any sense to me why I keep seeing coaches and gym goers ‘winding down’ and lifting light weights with pump sets when in a diet phase. Word of warning - this is how you will lose your strength and this is how you will ultimately regress. . . Lower the food, not the weight! See more

08.01.2022 Self check in: Weight - 118kg/260lbs Bodyfat - Approx 10% Calories - Minimum 6,000 Per Day... Weight Training - 10x Sessions Per Week Cardio - 5,000-10,000 Steps Per Day I am 10kg/22lbs up from my last contest weight. Another couple of kgs and it’s time to cut back on the night time piggies. Take note, I said ‘cut back’, not stop Perks of being lean in the off-season means calories won’t be reduced much below 6,000kcls per day. Unfortunately for those who get sloppy on the scales it means a hard diet ahead, often with plenty of super fun Cardio (NOT)! Top Tip: If you lose sight of your abs, you’ve lost sight of the game! Stay tuned

07.01.2022 Completely different approach this year, my plan is to get the conditioning I need for stage; early, hold, possibly increase food if needed & step on stage not burned out. . . Couple of decent weekends coming up in regards to fun food (Birthdays, Coaching Party, Christmas, New Years) so by reducing food now, I’ll be able to enjoy these without compromising the competition 12 weeks from now. For those who I coach, we refer to this as the ‘Banking System’. .... . Eat Smart - You really can maintain a very low body fat all year around without giving up your social life. See more

06.01.2022 A lot of focus this improvement season has been placed on my leg development. Generally in a good week: - Inner Thigh x3 sessions - Quads x2 sessions - Hamstrings x2 session ... - Calves x2 sessions - Glutes x1 session This is pretty much double what I did in recent previous years and I did this approach on Back & Chest of which I’m now happy with where they are at right now. Same approach, now different muscle! Repping @worldgymsurfers Gym Tshirt!

05.01.2022 #teammetamorphasize . . 10 week transformation from my client @tyrone___ .... . Tyrone wanted to experience a depletion, carb up and end result peak for a photoshoot. This journey was to ultimately get some great shots from my other client @samueleatonstudio but also to learn how the slightest manipulation in diet, supplementation and training can change the final ‘look’. Very valuable information and something I always recommend any serious competitor/trainer to do prior to peaking, I call this a ‘mock/trail peak’. . . I am really looking forward to using the data collected to smash future goals! Well done, happy coach! . . Current Photos: November 2020 Weight: 80kg Waist: 32 inches (Pre Carb Up) . . Past Photo: August 2020 Weight: 89kg Waist: 35 inches . . Total weight loss: 9kg Total waist loss: 3 inches See more

02.01.2022 #teammetamorphasize A dramatic 7 weeks transformation from our client Tim. Being 50 years old, Tim’s health was his priority but he also wanted to learn how to sustainably lose body fat whilst building muscle, without necessarily compromising his occasional treat food. ... It was apparent quite early on with Tim that his commitment was not an issue, unfortunately it was his lack of knowledge or more specifically what he had been taught in the past in relation to how to lose fat and build muscle optimally. He had been successful in the past but could not get past a particular ‘sticking point’. We are very happy to see that after only 7 short weeks Tim has significantly increased his health and decreased his body fat. Well done! Date - Beginning Weight - 82.5kg Waist - 38 inch Body Fat Percentage - Approx 30% Date - 7 Weeks Later Weight 71.8kg Waste 32 inch Body Fat Percentage - Approx 20% Total Weight Loss - 10.7kg Total Waist Loss - 6 inch Total Body Fat Percentage Loss - Approx 10%

02.01.2022 Since my injury I have been training drop set style. Very simple approach, brutal and next level pain! - Choose a weight you can get a decent amount of reps on. As soon as you hit failure stop. - Rest for no longer than 20 seconds. - Same weight, go again. As many reps as you can to failure before stopping. ... - Rest no longer than 20 seconds. - Last time, go again to finish! In this set: 1st set - 40kg dumbbells X 35 reps 2nd set - 40kg dumbbells X 12 reps (not in video) 3rd set - 40kg dumbbells X 8 reps (not in video)

01.01.2022 Because clients/people have been asking, approximately: . . Protein 450-500g Carbs 200-250g... Fats 200-250g Calories 4,400-5,250 . . 2x a week I cut loose and have some controlled ‘fun food’. On these days I may hit close to upwards to 10,000 calories. I go off how i am looking & feeling. . .
