13.01.2022 GETTING YOUR GOALS OVER THE LINE If you are having problems reaching your goals, have you ever tried seeing if the values that are attached to the goal are being met? Try this as an experiment. Think of a goal that you are having trouble with....... What are your values in relation to this goal (try for a minimum of five).... Rate the level you are meeting your values on a scale of one to ten.... If there are values that are not being met, what do you need to meet them.... Here is one of mine, Goal To incorporate more smart carbs into my diet Values Honesty, Consistency, Bravery, Growth, and Health Scores 8, 4, 4, 4, 6 What can I do? Honesty is at an acceptable level. Consistency, although I have bad reactions to highly processed carbs, I can try to add more of the smart carbs that I know that I have less issues with. Bravery, I can try one new smart carb per week, which will allow me to get over any bad reactions. Growth, I can research more recipes that will make smart carbs more attractive. Health is at an acceptable level and will be met by addressing my other values.
