Values are very important in parenting since they deeply influence every behavior and attitude and effect our decisions and relationships through out our life.... What are values? 'Value is the amount of worth ascribed to something, the degree to which something is prized or has merit. Values are the beliefs that each person considers are important for himself and possibly for humanity as a whole. For a value to be truly your own, you must act on it and your behavior must reflect it not just verbally accept it or think that you should follow it. The more aware parents are of their own values, the clearer they will be in expressing them and communicating them to their children.' 24.01.2022 Happy Sunday Video taken when we were in Brisbane for Xmas. South Bank is a beautiful spot to take the kids and have a swim in a safe clean environment ... After we spent the morning here we hit the road back north to finish up our holiday. Note to self; never travel north of Brisbane on Boxing Day haha .. I’ll tell you why, so it took us over 2hrs to get from North Brisbane to Beerwah which is approx 55km This is probably something locals know & happens regularly .. "The mere exposure effect states that people tend to develop a preference for that which they are exposed to frequently."... This is one of the many shortcuts our brain uses to make fast decisions and judgements. Even though there is a range of choices the brain will view the most familiar choice as the best choice. An example of this is the more you hear a song on the radio usually the more you like it. As the saying goes, 'it grows on you'. Another example is always choosing the same meal from the pub when you go for lunch or dinner. Because you know you like it and the choice is easy & quick. Being afraid to try something new for a human is possibly because of exactly that.. its new. You know nothing about it. So your brain tells you no, it tells you that its not familiar and to stay far far away. This is why so many people are stuck, whether its in regards to a job or to a relationship. It is always when someone decides to jump out of their comfort zone that they then make a decision which makes them feel different and in most cases makes them feel like a breathe of fresh air, helps you get out of the rut you have been stuck in and you wonder why you didn't decide to make a change sooner!! The mere exposure effect is huge for this business in social media marketing. And with any business and advertising really. The more you see something, the more you'll like it. 19.01.2022 Motivation Monday So for some, this may be the first day back at work after a big Xmas break. NOoooooo........ Why are Monday’s a day we all hate?? It basically represents a day that you have to go back to work If it makes you feel like sh#t, well that generally means you don’t enjoy your job and this makes Monday’s even worse For me when I use to work week on week off in the mines, Wednesday was my Monday. It was the day I had to drive back out to work away from my family. For you it may be the same or it may be different!! Starting our online business has now given me the option to never have a Monday in my week ever again. No more days that made me feel like sh#t No more days that I have to pack my bag and drive or fly out to work. No more days that a 4am alarm clock goes off No more days of being told what to do by a boss No more days of building someone else business Monday’s for us now.. well they’re just another day There’s nothing stopping you from having the same, all you need to do is reach out and I’ll show you how we did it..super simple!
