The draft strategy looks at whether there is enough land in the right locations, and other factors to provide the necessary local jobs into the future. Land use zones considered in this strategy include: IN1 General Industrial IN2 Light Industrial IN3 Heavy Industrial B5 Business Development B6 Enterprise Corridor B7 Business Park The draft Employment Lands Strategy is one of six strategies now on Public Exhibition as part of the Local Environmental Plan Review Program. 13.01.2022 Update on works at Tahmoor Sports Ground Stage 1: The cut and fill works is well underway, with around 20,000m3 of material being moved around and the new netball area being built up 2 metres at its highest point to achieve the new design. The existing field topsoil is now all stripped and stockpiled at the old netball courts ready for screening and ameloiration.... In the coming weeks the netball hardstand will be placed, along with the athletics field topsoiling, drainage and irrigation works. The new multipurpose building design is also nearing completion and tendering for a builder will commence soon, along with tendering for a netball court construction contractor.

In great news for the Wilton community, the new multi-purpose facilities at the Wilton Recreation Reserve ...were officially opened today, Thursday 3 September. The facilities include a new multi-purpose amenities building, four new multi-purpose courts, and upgrades to the AFL building including female change rooms and referee rooms. Council have been working with a consulting fi...rm to conduct a feasibility study and we are moving foward to a more detailed design phase where it will be able to go out on public exhibition. 05.01.2022 Feeling excited Wollondilly is getting another Return and Earn machine. This new one will be located in Picton in the car park near Coles. It should be open by mid October. This will be the fourth one in Wollondilly with others located in Bargo, Silverdale and Wallacia. You can also take returns to the Douglas Park General Store and Vinnies Picton. Big thanks to the Wollondilly environment team for advocating for this.

Not the greatest ...way to spend on Christmas, when all they want to do is play outside. Written at 4.30 listening to their high pitch screams. Come down for a listen! It’s so much fun as my kids walk round school looking like zombies.
