25.01.2022 I’m going to put myself out there and say, please don’t support the Brides Choice Awards until they do the following: Change the name to something far more inclusive of the same sex community and those who identify as other than brides & grooms. Show some transparency on how these votes are gathered and collated. Stop charging ridiculous amounts of money to receive a cheap award and a social media logo. It is my opinion, and my opinion only, that these sorts of awards/organisations only cheapen our industry as they make their dollars. If you feel the same, please share #coupleschoice

19.01.2022 I love the big gigs, the large weddings and the energy that is created. I also love the quiet moments and the genuine energy and love that can be created in the smaller ceremonies. V & W got married in a little Gazebo near the Yass River. Their 2 witnesses and I waited at a distance while they shared a glass of sparkling, and some intimate vows, dancing to the energy they created. While we waited for their signal to join them, I was smudged by one the witnesses. It was amazin...g! It cleansed my of any bad energies and surrounded me in positive energy so that when we joined V & W, we didn’t interrupt their space, we simply became a part of it. After some legal stuff, combined with 2 beautiful readings, they were married! It was fabulous! 16.01.2022 Hi all Marymead are running some virtual trivia nights over the coming weeks to recoup some funds lost in the cancellation of our face-to-face events. There are just a few hours left to book a ticket for tomorrow night's virtual trivia session and we'd love to have you there.... I’m hosting and there’ll be 3 rounds of trivia which you can play all from the comfort of your loungeroom. Winners also have the chance to walk away with $50 cash (total). Whilst it wasn’t what K had originally planned, it was beautiful. It was simple, it was elegant, it was filled with love and emotion. Big weddings can be wonderful but so can a few people in a room, wrapped in love. "We were married in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Like so many couples we were uncertain what was ahead for us and whether o...ur day could even proceed at all. Michael was reassuring, calm, helpful and positive throughout the whole process. We had to change our plans a multitude of times and Michael was an amazing sport about all of it. Then, Covid-19 came along and buggered their plans completely. So K, being the amazing woman that she is, put on her thinking cap. 02.01.2022 20 years ago I married this stunner! We met at a wedding over 23 years ago. Everyday I think about how lucky I am to have met her. We have a very real marriage. We laugh, we love, we share, we give, we disagree sometimes and we annoy each other too. We’ve had good times and bad times and everything in between but we are still together. It hasn’t been easy. I certainly couldn’t be married to me. I love this woman. She is amazing and remarkable and fabulous and gorgeous and smart and funny and loving and giving and did I mention gorgeous??
