07.01.2022 Our trend opinion: We are seeing strong influences from the '70s and the '80s currently. This mood is powerful and started at Septembers' Maison et Objet and we have watched it move at a high velocity in the home and furniture market, presented by HK living and Kelly Wearstler. It is also evident through the re-issue of classic and iconic designs. 101 Copenhagen rereleased their Cobra Vase this year, a signature piece from the early 70s, the Camaleonda sofa from B&B Italia and the Asmara sofa from Lignet Roset. Other 70's signifiers are continuous floating shelves, ceramic ornamentation and figurines. We expect the 70s' and 80s' trend to emerge quickly in 22/23.
