24.01.2022 Hello Guys and Gals Quick update on the racing. As you already know we have been playing with jet sprint boats of late mainly because I can drive them with my left foot and its always been something I wanted to try. But I have had another bone graft on my right ankle this week and we are hopeful that this will be the last surgery to make it work properly. We should be recovered enough for our annual trip to the USA in July Stay warm and dry
24.01.2022 This thing is a weapon !!!! Certainly opens your eyes
23.01.2022 I can’t thank the guys at Indy Race parts enough for there generosity in making it possible for us to compete in the SRA Triple Crown races starting this weekend at Simpson. It’s been nearly a year since I got to race a car that wasn’t from Hertz or Avis. These guys go above and beyond for speedway. I just have to get my car ready find my race gear and get sorted for Sunday night Thank You

Thanks to Narelle,Aaron,Ebee,Jarod and Des.and the Camden Neon team Our next adventure will be back in the Hi-Tech oils/ Auspro Logistics superboat at Keith on the 24th of this month. 20.01.2022 With a 4th place finish at Temora last weekend we have now reached the end of our first season in the Australian Jet Sprint Boat Championship and walked away with 6th place in the unlimited class ,Rookie of the year, lots of great stories and formed some great new friendships. Now our attention turns to the World Champs that are in Australia this year and will be a event to not miss. Our little team Narelle Grayland, Ethan Cunningham, Aaron Cunningham, Nigel Johnston, Phil , Louise, Crusty, Ted and Derek and everyone else who helps us out will only get stronger. Congratulations to all the place getters and teams who competed it was a exciting finish with close points all year.
19.01.2022 Loading it on the drop deck and heading to Warrnambool
16.01.2022 Unfortunately we are not going to make it to Cabarita for the 10th and 11th of August race but we hope that everyone goes fast, has fun, stays safe and puts on a good show. Cheers
16.01.2022 Round 1 worlds done and dusted. What a great weekend, and an awesome facility at Keith. We managed to do the correct rotation and get faster on each run, we got a bit of work to do to get the boat handling better. Out of 22 unlimited Superboats we ended one spot short of top 6 in seventh position. Looking forward to round 2 next weekend at Cabarita, special thanks to Narelle Grayland, Ethan, Nigel, Scott, and everyone else who gave us a hand. Congratulations to the winners, well see you all at Cabba.
15.01.2022 I hope the weather forecast gets better for Hamilton this weekend first chance Ive had to get in the car for ages.
15.01.2022 Had a absolute ball at Griffith in the boat. We slowly got smoother and more confident with each run. Bad weather ended the night early but didnt dampen any spirits. Huge thanks to Phil, Greg and Nigel for traveling up to help its greatly appreciated and we learned a lot. And also thanks to my boys Aaron and Ethan for coming along this weekend Good job boys you did great. And especially to Narelle you did an awesome job navigating we didnt make one wrong turn and you powered through despite feeling unwell. Great job little buddy. Cant wait to see what the next course in Keith is like on the 24th March
15.01.2022 Few more little jobs and were ready for round 5 of the Australian championship at Cabarita on the 18th and 19th August were really looking forward to getting back into the boat.
15.01.2022 Cabarita Round 5 wrap up Sunshine, warm weather, water, great people and thumping big V8 jet boats make for a action packed weekend away again. With a few of the big boys having issues this weekend we found ourselves a bit higher on the time sheets. Narelle opted for Ethan have his first go at navigating and he did a great job, if I watched his hands a bit better we wouldnt of ended our top 6 run on the grass. We defiantly left it all out on the track this weekend giving it ...the best we could I didnt want to leave QLD wondering what if ? Great job by the Tweed Coast club giving us another top class track and venue. Thank you to the AFJSA committee and volunteers for there hard work yet again and congratulations to the place getters. This team of ours Narelle, Nigel, my boys, Phil, Louise, Shaun and everyone else who helps and offers advice will only get stronger. Time to head home knock the dints out and get ready for the last round at Temora on 22 September See more
15.01.2022 The True BlueV8 Superboat will be on display for Motec this Saturday in Melbourne at the Fitted Festival check out the Fitted Festival page on Facebook. https://fittedfestival.com/
14.01.2022 We raced the second round of the Indy Race Parts Triple Crown Series last night at Heartland Raceway Moama, The track was amazing!!! In my opinion I think it was the best surface weve had to race on at that venue ever and our A main was finished about 9:30 I think so well done SRA and Heartland . We had an absolute ball. Started off great we were the quickest car in hotlaps but apparently that still doesnt pay anything ?? but it does give you some confidence after being out... of the car for so long. We were last out to qualify and we timed third in our group, yes Smooch you were right on the gears I messed up. Made some changes to the car before the first heat, started third missed the start and went back a heap of spots ended up finishing fifth. In the second heat started at the rear, passed a few cars until I messed up on a restart, stood on it too hard spun around and took out poor Clarky sorry bud, ended up with two flat tyres, DNF. This put us out of P10 in the A Main. Jonny told me what he did to the car for the feature I looked deep in his eyes and acted like I understood but damn he gave me a great car It was awesome and we finished 5th. You know its been a great night when the feature seemed to be only 5 laps long and you want to fuel it up and go out again before they turn the track lights off. Johny and Bob no matter the result you make racing fun thank you. Narelle you do way more than you realise your the cleaner, caterer, fuel girl, grid finder, mud remover and safety gear organiser thank you. Indy Race Parts gets double thanks for sponsoring the series and also supporting us without them we wouldnt be racing. Its a very important statement to support those who support us so if you arent buying parts from Indy please consider giving them a try or whos name will be on the series next year or will the series even exist ? sponsors like Indy are rare and we need to support them. Were really looking forward to last round of this series at Avalon next weekend 13-4-19 then back in the boat for round 2 of the AFJSA Australian Superboat Championship at Temora 4-5-19 Go fast have fun and be safe everyone. #kickyourasslumbar See more
14.01.2022 Im really pumped finally reaching a goal Ive been working towards for the last few months with my weight loss and today I just snuck under 90kg or 200lb. Very happy nearly 30kg out of the boat for this season
11.01.2022 Unlimited Super Boat True Blue is getting a brand new look along with some pump upgrades to compliment the new bullet. Huge thanks to Brett and the guys at All Class Bodyworks in Melbourne for all the fine work. She is laser beam straight and ready for some paint. If your thinking about advertising your buisness on this weapon for the world championships nows the time.
11.01.2022 These things handle like nothing else.
10.01.2022 Last nights Classic sky was a show in itself there is something very special about this event and venue. Its very different not being a part of it this year but like many others next years plans are well on the way. Good luck to all the teams for tonight go fast have fun and be safe .
10.01.2022 Day 1 of the World Champs is in the books. Im calling it a successful day going the right way and posting decent times for early runs. Were making changes trying to find the happy place for the boat after all the recent upgrades.
10.01.2022 Go to Cunninghamgdm and give it a share
09.01.2022 I cant thank the guys at Indy Race parts enough for there generosity in making it possible for us to compete in the SRA Triple Crown races starting this weekend at Simpson. Its been nearly a year since I got to race a car that wasnt from Hertz or Avis. These guys go above and beyond for speedway. 09.01.2022 I think the most common question we get asked about the boat racing is how do you know where to turn Well this is how, we usually get this info a couple days before the race and here is the rotation for next weekends first round of the Australian Championship. The numbers at the top are the rotation, the trick is remembering them.
07.01.2022 67 Days until round 1 AFJSA at Keith SA 23-3-19 Round 1 Australian Championship. Time to finish getting this vessel prepared.
06.01.2022 Its been a very stressful few days but we have made it to Cabarita for round 2 of the world championship. Take a look at the track rotation for this weekend and the view of the start line from eye level when seated in the boat. These corners come up really quick !!! Best of luck and a safe weekend to everyone who competing.
05.01.2022 Some Go Pro footage from the Last round of World Championship final day
05.01.2022 Looking forward to giving this little fella another run on the 28th at Temora
04.01.2022 Had a absolute blast at Chico last night. Was by far the most fun Ive had in a sprintcar for a very very long time. My ankle held up and Kyle had the car so good all night it was like when JB used to set it up for me (perfect) Track was super heavy and fast. We timed 10th ran 4th in the heat race. Started 9th in the feature and finished 7th. Huge thanks to Casey, Shep, Kyle, Narelle and unknown guy who helped all night.
04.01.2022 Absolutely heart broken Was having a great day boat was fast until throttle cable got jammed under the fuel tank in top 16 and messed the run up. Finished 13th for the day and 9th in the championship
03.01.2022 Say hello to True Blue and the new look. Its been a lot of very late nights but she is nearly ready for round 1 of the world championships at Keith this weekend. Also thanks to Justin and Bree Roylance for sending us our Australian Championship hardware from the presentation. Whos getting excited ????
02.01.2022 First time back in a sprint car for a very long time last night for the Vic Title at Simpson Speedway and Ill take it. Started off and finished a bit rough but had a shining part in the middle. I messed up in our time trial and the top wing ram bolt broke at the start of our first heat making things difficult but we got our shit together and won our second heat from pole. Started 9th in the A main track was very heavy and we were to tight mainly because of my bad instructio...n to Doodle Bug the worlds coolest crew chief putting to much fuel on board making it worst, we struggled through nearly to the end but got hit resulting in a badly bent rear nurf bar receiving the defect flag so pulled in with 3 laps to run. Had a absolute ball being back in the car again and cant wait for the next one. More than a fair bit of rust on both myself and the car, I fell out of the seat after only a few laps and today we discovered all the fuel nozzles were badly blocked. we were very lucky we didnt do any engine damage last night. Huge thanks to Narelle,Johny Butler, Bob, Aaron, Ebee and Indy Race Parts for making our return for a couple races possible we have missed it very much and was surprised and very thankful at the amount of people who welcomed us back. Hopefully we will get a gap soon in our work schedule to finally build our own new transporter and become regulars again. But in the mean time we are back in the boat again at Keith SA in 2 weeks on the 23rd of March for the first round of the AFJSA Australian Jet Sprint Boat Championship. Go fast have fun and be safe everyone see you soon See more
02.01.2022 Onboard footage from a good run at Cabarita
02.01.2022 Work commitments stopped us from racing the sprint car at Moama 2 weeks ago , Mother Nature put a stop to speedway at Warrnambool this weekend. Hopefully sprint cars at Avalon will be a goer this Saturday and then were off to Temora with the boat on the 28th for the 3rd round of the AFJSA Australian championship
02.01.2022 Just a few of the boats going through scrutineering this afternoon for tomorrow. A lot of very nice boats here.
