29.01.2022 Little Miss Willows turn this weekend at Albury Horse Trials! First horse trials for Izzy and Willow as a team and have never been more excited! Competing in the EVA60 to get this pair ready to step up to EVA80 for the International Horse Trials later in the year.

13.01.2022 Wonderful day for Izzy and Mason at BDSJC Autumn Show! Mason has improved nonstop and is getting better and better each ride, only sometimes getting a bit heavy in the hands! Jumping in the 80 and 90cm today we didn’t come home with any placings due to a few unlucky rails, but a great learning experience for both and heaps of new tips and tricks! Also big thanks to Teegan Ashby for taking little miss Willow for a burl round the 70 and 80 placing 3rd in the 70! ... BDSJC always put on a great show, so thanks to all the committee and volunteers who made the show possible, we can’t wait for the August Show

02.01.2022 Lovely weekend spent out at Kergunyah Horse Trials. Georgia and EP Twisted Willow set out in their 3rd horse trials, and took out 1st place leading from start to finish in the Ezra Lonergan Memorial grade 3 class! Many thanks to the Lonergan family for their sponsorship of the class in memory of Erza, and also to Teegan Ashby Equestrian for her sponsorship as well. Well done to everyone at Wirlinga who competed, you all did fantastic and are improving in leaps and bounds.... #goteamred Finally too Mum for driving and being chief strapper/video taker.

16.12.2021 Pm us for more details A very hard sale of a magnificent pony

01.12.2021 Look what arrived in the mail today EP Twisted Willow was named overall senior champion in Ring 2 at the recent NSW Country showjumping Championships hosted by REA Jump Club. What an great way to end a stellar season from little Willow proving why she is the best pony Many thanks to the team at REA Jump Club and for the sponsors of the beautiful rug, sash and trophy

13.11.2021 This weekend was spent at Kergunyah for their Showjumping and Dressage Championships. Saturday had WP Dark Knight and WP Valentino entered in the C grade and EP Twisted Willow in the D grade. Isobel and Mason had a very stylish unplanned dismount in the first round, although were 2 great rounds with courses ranging up to 1m, not in the places but a great experience. Georgia and Kuro had nice rounds again in the C grade, jumping very well considering this was a step up for him.... Willow and Georgia jumped beautifully in the 2 round championship for a 4th place and was out of the placings in the 2-phase. On Sunday was the dressage where Mason stepped up to take Togs position in the tests 2D and 2E which were harder than anything we have done before as a combination so coming away with 5th in 2D was a great result. Willow also had two beautiful tests doing everything to the best of her abilities, not in the placing but was a great experience for her. Would just like to thank the judges and stewards on both days for all there hard work and the organisers and sponsors of this very well run event. See more

07.11.2021 The team performed exceptionally at the NSW Country Championships in Wagga, with EP Twisted Willow and WP Dark Knight (Kuro) ridden by Georgia leading the proud performances of the weekend. Willow proved herself a valuable pocket rocket once more with a victory and a 2nd place in the 70cm class, and a two 2nd places in the 80cm class. We were remarkably proud of her for being totally unfazed by the (very scary!!) indoor arena. Kuro pleased once again with a fantastic 2nd and 3rd place in the 70cm class and a 3rd in the the 80cm class. Overall it was a great weekend and many thanks to REA for the organisation of the event. Most of all, thanks to Mum for driving us, strapping for us and tolerating us.

27.10.2021 This weekend saw us at Benalla Show with one pupil travelling with us and riding our horses. Great riding all weekend by Georgia, very proud of her riding, she... did an excellent job on all 3 horses that she rode. Georgia achieved the following results. Mingara Lucy 1st 80cm Mingara Panda 1st 1.05m Mingara Lucy 2nd 90cm She also rode Mingara Eli, she rode the big horse very well inn the 1.15m but was not in the placings. Thank you to the Hearn family, Committee, volunteers and all others involved with the running of this fantastic show.

24.10.2021 Spent our weekend supporting our local club at Wirlinga Pony Club Gymkhana. Izzy and Mason had a super weekend taking out both B Grade Showjumping Champion and Games Age Champion. Mason also had his first try at six bar and jumped his socks off as part of the winning team with Rory, Sophie and Sarah. Mason came home with a neck full of ribbons placing in the top three in every class. Just want to thank all of the Wirlinga members and committee for putting on such a great, well run event. Last of all thanks to mum for driving us back and forth and always being there when we need a hand!

06.10.2021 Another great weekend out for Georgia at NVSJC Spring Show. Mingara Panda was first up on Saturday, competing in the 1.05m class. She jumped spectacularly with just one rail down. Next up was WP Dark Knight (Kuro), who finally got a spot on the Team for Shepparton. He didn’t disappoint, having a nice clean round for a second place in the 75cm class, and with a few rails down in the 90cm class. We were very pleased considering this is his first show in quite a while. Next up, ...our favourite pocket rocket Mingara Lucy (Lucy Lu) proved that she was the best pony on the team and won her 75cm class. We were very proud of this victory as it was a large class with more than 75 other horses entered. She had just one rail down in the 90cm but she still jumped her socks off and made us proud as she always does. Last class for Saturday was the 1.04 with Mingara Panda and BG Mystery, both jumped super and respectfully got a 1st and 2nd. (Mystery being the winner) Sunday rolled around and the heat was a force to be reckoned with. Mingara Panda was first up in the 1.10 class. She pulled one rail however completed a very neat round otherwise. Kuro was entered only in the 80cm class on Sunday and came home with a lovely 6th place. Mingara Lucy competed excellently once again with a second place in her 80cm class and an impressive first place in her 95cm class. This too was a large class with more than 80 competing horses entered, so we were ecstatic with the achievement of 1st. Lucy Lu never disappoints. Finally, the last class of the day with both Panda and BG Mystery competing, was the 1.04m. Panda jumped like a superstar until the last fence when she decided that the big pink dazzleboard just wasn’t for her. It was a disappointing end however she still had a great weekend and I’m sure she will redeem herself next time. Mystery took up the challenge and jumped magically to win the class. Many thanks to the NVSJC for organising a fantastic show, all your hard work is very appreciated. Thankyou so much to Des and Susan Gleeson for giving Georgia the opportunity to ride these wonderful horses, and also to Liz McMaster for the ride on Panda. Lastly, thanks to Mum for constantly chauffeuring us to these events and also being chef/groom/boss and chief video taker.
