25.01.2022 What a fantastic quote and a great reminder that we need to be passionate about what we do in life in order to be successful with our endevaours. Especially in real estate we need to remember to look past the sale and concentrate on the goal of helping others get happily moved. Last week I was able to share three days with a group of wonderful agents at my Success in Real Estate live program in Parramatta creating a step-by-step plan for their real estate careers. It is true ...honour and privilege to be able to work with such wonderful agents and I am so passionate about helping agents to make more sales and achieve their goals. When we are truly passionate about what we are doing and commit with our hearts, there is not limit to what we can achieve. Happy Friday!

24.01.2022 How many times in life when we experience failures are we reluctant to examine these failures and reflect on the lessons that we can learn from such experiences? Then on the other hand when we have successes we can be too willing to over-celebrate and lose sight of our overall goals. It's important to celebrate our successes as a reward but we need to remember to not go overboard and lose our focus. We need to try and strike a balance of not allowing ourselves to dwell on our... failures but work out what we did wrong, or what we can improve on so that we don't repeat the same mistakes in the future. Some of these lessons are learned the hard way. However, by learning to cope with the challenges, one can come out of the experience wiser and stronger, more able to face whatever else lies ahead. So as we begin another week let's reflect on our wins and losses over the past 4 weeks? What have you done well and what can you do better to improve your results? Have a fantastic week!

This is a great message to have in mind in our day to day lives - it's all too easy to become pessimistic when we experience setbacks or when things don't go our way. However there is always a learning experience to be gained, even when we encounter adversity or fail. When we face a difficult task we must remain optimistic, we can think negative thoughts in our mind like "what if it doesn't work" or "what if I don't succeed", but this won't get us anyw...here. Even when we have fears the one thing we should ask ourselves is "what if I do succeed"? By being optimistic and staying positive you will attract like-minded people and there is no limit to what you can achieve - happiness and optimism help us to see the bright side of life. So if you have a tough task ahead of you remain optimistic and good things and good people will be drawn to you. Have a fantastic Wednesday!

18.01.2022 Attitude is everything and having a great attitude can be one of the most important steps you can take to achieving your greatest potential. On the flip side a bad attitude is like a hole in a boat, you will slowly but surely sink if you don't fix it. The concept of attitude is so closely related to the one of the main challenges to our success in real estate - an inflexible mindset. When we a have a negative attitude we adopt a limiting mindset and we become bogged down in u...nnecessary negative thoughts, and lose sight of our ultimate goal. When you focus on problems, you'll get more problems. However when you adjust your attitude and focus on opportunities, all you'll get are more possibilities. When your goals are strong, any problems, obstacles or failures will only act as motivators for you to not give up. So when you are faced with a problem or a difficult task, think of them as a challenge and remember to maintain a positive attitude, don't dwell on past negative experiences and power on towards your goal. 18.01.2022 This is a great quote to start the new year off right! As we begin 2020 many of you may be thinking about setting some goals for the coming year. However how many times do we start this process and then never return to it? In order to be successful we must have the discipline to stick to the path towards achieving our goals. As we identify our goals and benefits we must also remember to keep them in plain view.... If you haven't already begun working on your goals for 2020 and writing them down make sure you start now. Once you are done start working on the biggest, hardest, most imposing task first. Get your highest level of energy behind you and work toward this accomplishment.

If you are not happy with your results for 2019, then it's a good time to reflect on change because if you do the same in 2020 as you have been doing in 2019, then you will get the same result. As we move towards the end of the year how close are you to reaching the goals that you set at the beginning of the year? What can you still accomplish between now and the end of the year? ... If you feel you are behind it's not too late to knuckle down and put in some hard work to make sure that you finish the year strong. So turn up, be present and work hard so that when you have a break at the end of the year you can be content with what you have achieved and enjoy your time off. These kinds of forces can have a great deal of power over us as humans from a personal and social standpoint, but there are always lessons to be learned when we are faced with adversity. The challenges we face can be initially seen as a negative, however they can also be the impetus for change. It's a great reminder that when we are faced with a... great force (in the form of a challenge or setback, maybe even one we have encountered before) sometimes we need to take a step back and re-asses our plan of attack going forward and use the challenge to our advantage.
