25.01.2022 The agility of these dolphins blew me away. If anything their playful behaviour was a good reminder not to take life too seriously.

16.01.2022 Dreaming of secluded beaches in far away lands right now....much like this one.

16.01.2022 Looking forward to getting back in the ocean over the coming days, working on my growing obsession with South Australia. In the meantime here's a green sea turtle shot at Julian Rocks

10.01.2022 Curious little fella this one; He swam up to see what I was. I had a wide angle lense on so my camera was mere inches from him.

09.01.2022 The coastline of SA is very different from the endless beaches of Qld. You can always fond a protected spot...The water in this cove was calm and inviting; this the was despite the 8ft swell and 30knot winds howling across the Eyre peninsula.

07.01.2022 Some believe in making your own luck. I personally think theres more to it. Rather, it's time in the field and readiness to grab opportunities as they arise that creates luck. See the foreground, you might notice I'm in the water. My camera is safely concealed in a water housing and I'm capturing waves as they roll through the pass.... For a few moments my focus, both mind and camera, is drawn to a rainbow appearing over the lighthouse. No time for tripods here; so it's high shutter speeds and low depth of field while I attempt to keep the camera (mostly) still and fire off a few frames. As the rainbow dwindles I call it a day and return, grinning, up the beach. Whether its taking photos of the sea from land or land from the sea, all that matters is that you're there, creating a bit of your own luck

06.01.2022 Two dolphins crossing paths. Two sleeps till Christmas.

06.01.2022 Lines peeling their way down the point at the pass.

02.01.2022 Life's a blur sometimes but nature helps put things into perspective. Looking forward to getting back out there and reconnecting over the break. Who else is doing the same?
