24.01.2022 What a year 2020 was! It started with great excitement in January as I embarked on the leadership of Ray White Commercial QLD however that was soon followed by a lot of doubt and uncertainty - like many others last year. What an astounding year in property markets! It was certainly a year of two halves. Most people look at me strangely when I say it was a great year to take on a new business but while I usually say it with a wry smile I couldn’t be any more sincere. We are ...a better business because of the events of last year. We are more cohesive, more collaborative, and a more resilient group. Looking forward to what 2021 will bring!

Christine Holgate gave a wonderful Q&A on the growth of Australia Post's operations and relationship with China - reminding everyone that the current crisis will pass and the importance of the economic relationship our two countries have. 17.01.2022 There is undoubtedly a lot of cautiousness in the market this week, however the data suggests there are still plenty of people looking to buy and sell real estate. Liquidity is high and demand is still strong, underpinned by ongoing fundamentals driving capital investment. Auctions are a wonderful barometer of market activity. Hopefully this data gives confidence to asset owners in a time with so many doomsayers. Those willing to brave the uncertainty may be well rewarded.
