13.01.2022 21 years online for our Zodee.com.au store this month! And we're still growing. Next month, we're launching our new Anchor store with eBay. It's been several years since Zodee had an eBay presence and we're happy to be coming back on board.
11.01.2022 This article reflects many of my concerns around the JobKeeper scheme. The article provides more hope, but no more real absolute clarity on the eligibility. It's obviously a very fluid and fast-moving situation so all business can do is take the leap of faith, in good faith, and hope the ATO has our back down the track.
02.01.2022 Tennants need protection from landlords triggering default under their lease during this period. There is no point the federal government giving companies and d...irectors insolvency deadline extensions (6 months currently plus other related measures) if the states do not move to limit the ability for landlords to enact lease provisions (including calling guarantees) during the same 6 month period. Important but will be lost of those that hate the federal government: this is a state issue - but hey, so were bush fires.... https://www.theaustralian.com.au//9b7fa23892448b9010fa9ec2
01.01.2022 Trying times for business in our country and indeed the world. For myself, it's a heartbreaking time watching my own businesses suffer (and some even close indefinitely due to Government restrictions). It's equally heartbreaking seeing friends and other businesses closing, bleeding, writhing on the ground with no answer as to when the pain will end. It's agonizing standing staff down, reducing hours and cutting shifts knowing how much you are impacting their lives. We al...l have to work together to manage this unprecedented challenge to ensure mutual survival. For all industries and levels of business, that means business owners, staff, unions, suppliers, banks, lenders, service providers, landlords, Government bodies, customers and more. I feel it's going to be a very different world we emerge in when this is over. More than ever, we'll need to continue to work together to restore some kind of new normal. Sacrifices will need to be made on all levels by all parties. I hope everyone is up to the challenge. Stay tuned. 2020 is going to be a bigger year than anyone could have possibly imagined. Stay safe, think positively, and we'll all see each other on the other side.
