20.01.2022 It's a Boy!! Our little man arrived 5 wks early and surprised us all but is now safely home with Mum and Dad. Thank you so much to the Medical and Health Staff at Prince of Wales Hospital Randwick for your dedication and hard work in getting our little man stronger. Also a big thank you to all our great friends and family who have been super supportive at this time. Great to have the little man home- welcome to the world Michael Hugh Hasson

14.01.2022 Why not ask a Professional?? After playing golf for the best part of 25 years I had my first lesson a couple of weeks ago. For most of my life I've played an Irish sport called hurling where the strong hand is held at the top and, naturally when I started golf, I kept the same grip. It just felt right After many hooked shots, and much time in the sand bunker I decided to attend a Golf lesson which was given to me as a Birthday present by my thoughtful partner @selinamcki...llen89 I spent one hour with Richard Mercer, club pro at the Vintage Golf Club in the Hunter Valley. He looked at my swing and gave me 2 aimple things to change. I think I've learned more in this one lesson than I have from all my previous shots combined I came away from the lesson feeling like I had a lot to work on but satisfied that this orthodox grip would vastly improve my game. Then it got me thinking about how this applies in Healthcare. It also has helped me appreciate the value there can be in having a coach/professional who can give you the best guidance. As a Health Care professional, I see myself as someone who is often trying to facilitate a change in behaviour. I find that so often people havedone things a certain way for so long that they're not willing to change despite the benefits. I totally get this and as my coach told me 'it's a comfort thing.' There is so much to be gained by having a coach/professional who can show you the way. Someone who does this 9-5 and can quickly spot where you are going wrong. So if you want to avoid 25 years in the sand bunker- ask someone who knows

12.01.2022 Delightedto be a part ofLink Disability Magazine's Article on Home Physio Vs Clinic Physio byCaitlyn Maynard. Well Done Caitlyn on a balanced article that compares and contrasts the two settings. Often I will see NDIS clients or clients over 65 who cannot make it to a clinicfor mobility reasons. However, as Caitlyn points out, there are other reasons for Health Services in the home including convenience, the need for privacy and being able to mobilise/practice in your home environment. The choiceis up to the individual but isn't it great to have the choice! In 2017 New York based researchers placed Australia as the 2nd best health care system in the world- we have it pretty good down here :D
