24.01.2022 The Australian wool market has recorded further overall losses this week. However, worth noting, there was strengthening in some individual merino microns and in other sectors of the market. Due partly to the fact that the Western region did not have a sale this week, the national quantity reduced to 20,488 bales, this was 12,688 bales less than offered in the previous week. Charlotte lives on a small cropping/sheep farm in the beautiful Cummins country. She completed her first 10 years of schooling there, then moved 1.5 hours away from home this January to Cleve to pursue her career in ag I’ve just finished work experience with Elders, putting my name out there to try win my traineeship, says Charlotte.... I’ve always been lucky to have family friends around that have farm sales and studs, which has always meant July/August is a very busy time! In her spare time, she works for the local shearing contractors and has recently started her Certificate III in Ag with a sheep farmer out on the coast We’re just finished shearing our sheep at home and started wind rowing beans, canola and barley. I’m an aspiring stock agent. By meeting new people in the livestock industry, they have all helped to give me endless opportunities and encouraged me to pursue my career. Everyone has been welcoming, they help me expand my knowledge, and ensure sure I make most out of everything. Welcome aboard, Charlotte!
