15.01.2022 Climate Activist, Greta Thunberg spoke at the Austrian World Summit yesterday on the Climate Emergency. She received a standing ovation. This girl is just 16 years of age and yet, still, she has a better grasp and a more scientifically-informed understanding of the climate crisis than many of our leaders. Leaders who continue to ‘water down’ the ever growing issue; that we are in a climate emergency. Scientists are stating we have approximately 10 years before the damage to... the planet will have reached such a tipping point that we will no longer be able to fix it and essentially the planet Herself will take control and will self-regulate; doing what She must to clean herself off from what humanity has done to Her. 02.01.2022 A Moment of Inspiration Today, while I sat at my local coffee haunt in the sunshine, my mind drifted to a film I saw many years ago As it is in Heaven. A deeply touching film about a bunch of misfits living in a small Swedish village who form a choir and then rangle a famous conductor to prepare them to compete in a singing competition in the big city. A competition, which, by all accounts they have no chance of winning. Of all the movies ive seen, this one has never left ...me. It just settles into your Soul.... In fact, my local cinema showed it for 2 years... demand was so high it became the longest running film at the cinema. Why? Because people kept coming back in droves... it just changes you... and people wanted another hit of its magic. Whoever wrote it... im convinced they were channeling something divine in nature. You may never get the chance to see it but ive attached the music from the ending scene where this bunch of misfits finally get their chance to sing at the conference hall; intending to compete but instead, uniting the entire hall of contestants to sing as one. One voice united in the tones of love. Take a moment to just stop, drop your bundle today, even for just a minute to close your eyes and listen to this track... i hope it inspires and uplifts you as it has me.
