24.01.2022 A photo to capture the last 'Endurance' Swisherr Strength and Conditioning Session. A group of these Athletes will miss the final 'Performance' session due to a tournament this weekend. We wish them a great start to their season. What will I do on a Tuesday afternoon without these Athletes and their bubbly, happy, chatty and smiling faces! They gave their all and improved so much over the past 4 weeks - sadly their choice in music didn't what I love about these girls is their thirst for this training. I can be a 'bit' tough on Athletes with my high expectations of work ethic and it wasn't always easy but they always got back up, moved forward and progressed Missing Millie, Mia, Chloe, Freya, Sharna and Hollie from pic.



23.01.2022 BE DURABLE AND BE AVAILABLE TO PLAY DON'T skip the gym IN SEASON! Adapt the volume/load & exercises but don't drop the INTENSITY! Strength training is a fundamental element for the physical conditioning of basketball players. Its purpose is to improve explosive power, acceleration/deceleration, speed & quickness around the court. It helps absorb contact and in turn establish contact confidently.... An added bonus is it may reduce the risk of joint and tendon injuries. Not sure how to train? Seek help from a professional - it's never too late to start or get going again

12.01.2022 1 year ago most of the Men and a fair few of these Women were in the gym working hard but couldn't get on the Court to do what they love. It's been a long wait but let's hope to see their hard work paying off tonight
