23.01.2022 Creating a lifestyle/story telling photo shoot for this absolutely gorgeous family I could just do every day! Capturing this special week for them as they are getting to know their new babe at home was an absolute joy. Jess & Ben you need to have at least six children as you create the most beautiful children together. I loved Jess's comment that she is very busy, but her heart is full! Who else can remember this time of bringing your newborn home? Overwhelming, bursting emotion overload for sure!

22.01.2022 I wanted to share that I have been doing a bit of soul searching lately, yes I have been struggling with my business and have been investing in coaching and educational workshops to learn how to run my business successfully. It is hard not to loose your confidence and feel dejected when new photographers in your area are popular and admitting that I may not be what people are looking for anymore. I recognise people want something different and new so I am working on some ne...w projects and what I live for is to create beautiful images that show family connections and capture those beautiful eyes and souls of children. I was listening to a wonderful pod cast on the way to work on what sparks my joy as a photographer and at the same moment I saw the cutest bunch of lambs playing on this amazing old gum tree. I thought this sparks my joy and turned around to take this photo. It was like this moment was mean't to be. This lead me thinking families & children, nature and animals, beautiful light, colour, close up faces, freckles, giggles, fun all spark my joy and yes I do need to continue on this photographic journey. I feel I have become complacent and I am excited to be learning, to be more adventurous, creative and professional. I would really love to hear what people want in a photographer, it can be an isolated profession and I would really like any thoughts on what people are looking for in a photographer?

21.01.2022 What I love about school holidays is I have these gorgeous children visit us, they have been visiting ever since they were small babes, it sparks my joy to see the excitement the farm brings to them. They love the open spaces, bonfires, farm animals and helping with farm jobs. This frosty morning we decided to get up early and went to play with the chookens in the morning light. My pet lambs came for the morning ritual of barley and my silly Ivy dog munches down on the barley with them, what a circus!

10.01.2022 Today has been a very emotional day for me, sad and happy memories as it would have been this amazing and beautiful ladies birthday. OMG this lady was super strong, intelligent, talented, loving and kind - the incredible Liz Jackson. If I can live my life as wholesome as she did, I will be very happy indeed! She has been such an inspirational person in my life, I admired and adored her and those that all loved her, were heart broken to loose her to that f....g "C" word onl...y last year. She would not be happy with this photo, but I love it, it shows her crystal blue kind eyes, her life lines and to me her wisdom. Yes it shows she was battling cancer, but it shows strength and resilience. Along with my beautiful mum cancer has taken these two special ladies from our lives a little too soon and as we all know, everyone has someone special that this horrible disease has touched. This morning I posted photos of her divine grand children, her family were her pride and joy and I know she would have adored these images of her grand children enjoying the farm. I know some people aren't comfortable with sharing emotions and that is ok, but for those that know me I am a very open person and I believe that talking about grief and sadness is ok and is part of life's journeys, it makes us stronger! Why do we all think a bloody good cry is not ok? It's so cleansing! My intention for this post is to say appreciate the special people in your life, live in each moment and share what is inside of you, don't bottle it up! Go forth and live - do it for Liz, she would love that! See more

07.01.2022 As a mamma I have emotional ups and downs about my babies growing up, I miss the little people that they were, they tug at my heart strings when I look at photos of them and the memories come flooding back as warm and magical moments. It's amazing how these memories totally kick the tired and stressful memories the hell out of the way. But I am super excited to share the next part of my life with my adult children, now that my baby is 18, they are now all my babies and my friends and I love the laughter, yes lots of silly humour (especially with this one) and yes having a few drinkies with them. I shouldn't promote the drinkies, yeah we are not perfect, but we do enjoy a few bevies in our family network. Here's to cheers to my babies!
