24.01.2022 https://www.loveyoursister.org/ Morning mum's, the other day I posted about being kind to yourself and I truly believe in that it is is quite often difficult to do however it is something that is very important for all of us. Something that women speak to me about all the time is Mother's guilt and unfortunately I think that it can be something that we all tend to carry and it can be from conception and continues through our parenting / mothering journey. ... Yesterday I was at work and our school had the privilege of Samuel Jackson coming from love your sister and my children attended and my son Lachlan had the privilege of introducing Samuel to the school and also the privilege of some photographs with him on his unicycle. For our community and for mums and for sisters/daughters/friends who face cancer this young man is so inspiring if you haven't read the book or you haven't been to the website jump over to the website and have a look as you can make donations as he's raising money for cancer treatments. Yesterday I found myself having some guilt that I wasn't there to witness and see this, however I kept reminding myself that Lauchie was my presence at the presentation yesterday, he was carrying my heart yesterday whilst I was caring for beautiful Mum's. Thank you too my dear friends who sent me photographs who helped make me feel part of this amazing day (you know who you are )

07.01.2022 Today I was blessed to have sunshine, exercise, a coffee with a friend and her beautiful daughter Lucy and then in the afternoon I had a glass of wine with my dear friend.... It is truly important for us women in our busy lives to be able to have that downtime, as mother's quite often we feel guilty about allowing ourselves that time but it is truly important to have it. I also spoke to a special young lady this afternoon whose path has crossed mine and I am finishing my day truly GRATEFUL

02.01.2022 It's taken me a while to post this about Lauchlan who completed his Primary School years on Friday. As I've mentioned being a mother is such an incredible journey and watching your children grow and develop is so amazing yet there is still a part of me that that feels quietly sad as you reminisce on your newborn you're kinder child your beautiful gorgeous preppy to the gorgeous young man that my little man has become this year. Lauchiehad the privilege of being school captain... and did an amazing job and he also went on to receive an award on Thursday night which recognised his team and community qualities. We couldn't be prouder of him. We have also been so fortunate to be part of an amazing School community at RNPS. Friendships made and life time memories. Lauchie now begins his secondary journey in the next decade where new chapters will be written. We love you so very much. To All you beautiful Mum's enjoy the ride however old your babies are it goes way too fast! X See more

01.01.2022 26th July, 2020 I debated about publishing this post, however I have had many signs from the universe this week that I feel that it is important that I share with you a piece of me. Some of you have read before and also listened to my story, others possibly think why are you sharing this again I am sharing it because if this reaches one Mum and makes difference or helps her in her healing then that makes my heart full. Birth trauma not often discussed, it is a select group...Continue reading
