22.01.2022 These days, it's more vital than ever to stay connected and to feel good in spite of everything. That's why I'm excited to announce that my next Awakening Joy course is scheduled to start on 4 February 2021! Awakening Joy is an internationally recognised course developed by meditation and mindfulness teacher James Baraz. The course is designed to help you develop your natural capacity for happiness and wellbeing. We'll cover themes such as developing gratitude, learning to l...ove yourself, opening up to the hard stuff as a path to joy, and finding joy in the happiness of others. The course includes nine face-to-face (fortnightly) group sessions held in Brunswick East. Book now for early bird prices!

09.01.2022 A gift to you in these challenging times The pandemic is taking a toll on many people, particularly those living in Melbourne. You may be finding it a challenge to find balance and joy while in lockdown. Practicing Yoga Nidra can make a huge difference in how you feel. This ancient technique from India is a form of meditation that uses the whole body as a focus of awareness.... I have recorded a Yoga Nidra in the hope that it helps you to access a state of deep relaxation. The 20-minute session is best practised lying down in a warm and comfortable position. Choose a time when you won’t be distracted. Click this link to access and enjoy! https://michelledate.com.au//a-gift-to-you-in-these-chall/

08.01.2022 Big thanks to Jess Huon for leading last weekend's women's retreat 'Bloom'. Perfect timing to shed restricting modes of being, rest down and plumb Prajna paramita the ocean of wisdom. I'd forgotten myself, so thanks Jess for supporting insight and regeneration and opening a fresh opportunity to bloom... now if only lockdown was.... https://jesshuon.com/bloom/

05.01.2022 Join Awakening Joy's James Baraz on Saturday, August 22 for "Showing Up for the Planet," an online, daylong retreat hosted by Marin Sangha that will explore how mindfulness and clear intention can provide the foundation we need to actively address the climate crisis.
