25.01.2022 DROUGHT... It changes the land, the environment & the lives of our farming families.. Thankfully, this spot where I was once standing, has now been blessed by the heavens with an abundance or rain. . . .... . . #australiandrought #drought #crackedearth #australianoutback #reddirt #stationlife #rurallife #lifeontheland #australianbush #travelaustralia #seeaustralia #outbackphotography See more

23.01.2022 Can you stand in your own silence...long enough to hear...long enough to feel & long enough to go wherever you need to be. Adam Brand

23.01.2022 If you’ve ever been to Noosa in Queensland, you’ll know that even in the quieter times of the year, the place is alive with people. On Easter Sunday 12/4/2020, Noosa looked like it may have never looked before. The beaches were practically bare, the boardwalk silent, picnic tables barricaded & the car park empty. The people stayed at home, apart from the few that needed their ‘daily dose’ of fresh air & exercise, much like myself and they socially distanced themselves out of respect for our world, their health & the health of others. Good on you people...TOGETHER we will beat this COVID19 mongrel virus.

22.01.2022 This trilogy would be complete without a ‘middle of the road’ selfie. Early morning outback highway isolation...love it!!

22.01.2022 The Master & the Apprentice. Aka...Bucky & Poppy. Watching these two playing & learning from each other on an early misty morning, around Nonning station, Outback South Australia.

22.01.2022 As a photographer, we live for these shots, capturing a moment, an emotion or a feeling to make us remember. Wherever you are in the world, close your eyes, take a moment, breathe & then smile Gympie Music Muster Memories ... Andrew Swift, Performing in the Muster Club 2018. 21.01.2022 With the climbing of Uluru officially closed on 26th October 2019, a date chosen that holds significance to the traditional owners as being the day it was handed back to them in 1985, I hope that people still make the journey to appreciate this masterpiece. It offers so much more than just a rock to climb. I took this photo in 2006 & the ‘wear & tear’ on the rock was quite evident even back then. The chain is to be removed but sadly the evidence of human interaction will still remain. I wonder if over time, the track will fade or perhaps disappear ?

21.01.2022 Happy New Year to you all. Let the sun shine in your eyes, the wind blow in your hair, your face ache from smiling, and your heart find it’s pair. WISHING YOU ALL A WONDERFUL 2020. ... And remember to get your boots dirty often... @travelaustralia @travelqld @outbackqueensland @explorequeensland

20.01.2022 I love Uluru and I’ve had the pleasure & privilege of visiting 4 times since my first trip in 1988. There is an energy you experience that is amazing & if you’ve ever visited, you’ll understand what I mean. You feel insignificant, yet exhilarated. It’s somehow magical & cathartic. It is more than just a rock & a tourist attraction. Whether you chose to climb or not to climb, is up to you. I have & I’m glad I did. Why?because in a strange way, I wanted to feel a part of it’...s energy & it didn’t disappoint. Back then, you were only discouraged not to climb, mostly due to weather conditions. Would I climb now ? No. One one of my visits, I did the 9km base walk, crossing the path of only 4 other people...how rare is that.a walk that takes you on a ‘Dreamtime’ journey & one that I will never forget. The base walk encompasses the stories of many significant areas, special to it’s traditional people. It’s certainly a Dreamtime education & a bloody long walk.but well worth it. I wanted to share a few photos I’ve taken over the years to cerebrate it’s undeniable beauty & presence it has on our landscape. These photos were taken at different times of the day, some from the air, between 1988 - 2006. If you've never been...do yourself a favour...you won't be disappointed. See more

10.01.2022 There is something wonderfully mesmerising about travelling on an outback road. Cathartic, thought provoking & such a sense of freedom. Isolation at its finest. My happy place.

09.01.2022 Such a shame..... This event is the highlight of my love for photographing our Australian Country Artists, but it means that so many of them, as well as others will miss out on making a living from yet another cancelled event. Please support our artists in any way you can and if you’ve never been to a Muster, get yourself a ticket for next year... you will have the time of your life!! Here’s hoping the 40th annual Gympie Music Muster in 2021 will be the best ever
