18.01.2022 This episode I am joined by @naomi.thelan.yoga whose son was diagnosed with cancer at the age of five. Her story is not easy to tell and it's heartbreaking to listen to. However it's a story about survival, resilience and finding meaning in our struggles. It's about finding reasons to celebrate life in all it's complex, contradictory glory. Join a Yoga Class with Naomi @tamarayoga I quote from the book The Gift by @dr.editheger

15.01.2022 This episode I am joined by Associate Professor Kenneth Nathan, an OBGYN with 27 years experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Nathan is passionate about his field and is a strong advocate for vaginal delivery and VBAC (Vaginal Delivery after Caesarean) and has equally strong opinions regarding the current state of obstetrics particularly in the private practice setting. A fascinating, potentially controversial conversation not to be missed by anyone who has had, or is planning on having a baby. You can get in touch with Dr Nathan at his clinic COGSS at Mt Lawley Medical Centre.

15.01.2022 Podcast Episode 2: When breastfeeding goes wrong...then right!!! This episode I’m joined by Jo who had a rough, yet ultimately successful (by her definition) journey to solo breastfeeding. So many women have a tough time with BF and ask why no one seems to talk about it. So here’s one story many women will find relatable. Big thanks to Jo for sharing her insightful story

12.01.2022 Another episode has dropped and Oli and Immi are on board helping out with my intro This episode I am joined by the divine Zoe who has generously shared her experiences of anxiety which for her have a very physical, embodied flavour in that they result in her feeling ill, an experience she recalls from a young age. We all know having kids is a rather big change in ones life and for many women can trigger anxiety (qui moi) and depression, so I was curious to hear Zoe's insig...hts into how having her children impacted her experience of anxiety. Our flowing conversation also dives into the mindblowing experience of childbirth as well as some of the more troubling aspects of motherhood in an Instagram society. P.S - I did my research! Zoe used to play bass and sing in a band called the Emperors who were Triple J Unearthed winners and opened at the Big Day Out in 2010!!! Ummmmmm......cool. https://podcasts.apple.com//choose-to-thrive/id1528529104

08.01.2022 Introducing Emily This phenomenal young woman is set to do great things in this world I’m sure of it. I had the privilege of interviewing her a few weeks ago and was once again blown away by her emotional maturity and self-awareness. Em shared her journey from a place of feeling broken and ‘not enough’ to love and deep self acceptance. Diagnosed with vaginismus and dyspareunia at just 18 years old I’m grateful to Emily for having the courage to so openly share her story to help raise awareness around these issues https://podcasts.apple.com//choose-to-thrive-/id1528529104

02.01.2022 Episode 3: This episode I am joined by Ari who reached her mid 30's and realised she had to make some tough decisions if she wanted to achieve her goal of becoming a mother. Well....she made it! Solo! And her story is both inspiring and insightful. If you would like further information regarding any of the resources Ari found useful throughout her journey feel free to get in touch. https://podcasts.apple.com//choose-to-thrive/id1528529104
