25.01.2022 What a weekend Honestly, looking back I had no idea what I was getting myself in for I mean that in the best way possible - it was amazing & I didn't realise it was going to be such an uplifting experience!... I'm so pleased to say that the whole weekend from start to finish exceeded my expectations and it is truly an event I'll never forget! Stepping outside of my comfort zone alongside @micahkatarina, @briclamps was so much easier and fun with them there. I feel we bonded so much as a group and each had our own journey of self-growth & empowerment throughout the weekend. To all of my clients who are sitting on the fence about whether or not to do one, or to anyone else who has ever wondered if it's possible - it is!! It is truly a celebration of you, your physique and your unique journey in health, strength & fitness. I'm so proud of myself for doing it. If I never even got a photo back from the photographer, I'd still be happy with the experience from an incredible weekend Now that I've done it once though, I am already planning the next! Thanks to @thefemaletransformation for such a great time



24.01.2022 When I look back over my fitness journey to date, it's clear that three specific things have moved me forward into the person that I am today: discipline, habits, and having a clear goal ... Discipline because I wanted to, not because I had to. Habits that that I enjoyed, rather than despised, that made me feel good and see results. A clear goal that gave my actions a purpose and kept me curious. The journey continues of course, as it does for us all, but I am happily in a place now where I am enjoying the rewards of my actions. My strength levels, energy levels and physique have all transformed in amazing ways. I want you to know that yours can too. 23.01.2022 It's shoot weekend I'm so excited!! Bags packed, GC here we come! ... Looking forward to meeting the other @femaletransformationformula ladies and spending time together this weekend. Yes, my spray tan is darker than ever, so I'm hoping for amazing shots - the things you do for fitness eh!? I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous, even just posting on here, but from experience I know the more I practice discomfort - the happier I am! 14.01.2022 Upon arriving in Australia in 2013 I looked around and wondered would I ever have the confidence to rock a swimsuit like 'those girls' on the beach. My own limiting beliefs at the time were something like: "I'm too pale" "My belly is too soft" "My legs are too big"... Had I continued to simply put up with that voice inside my head that told me I couldn't have confidence on the beach, I probably would have stayed the same and not changed a thing. Missing out on the amazing beach life in Aus! Instead, curiosity got the better of me and I started to wonder "what if!" What if I could look and feel amazing in my favourite swimmers any day of the week.. What if I could go out there and be in a body that I am proud of.. That's when it all changed for me. From there, I took action, sought out help, education, and got around others who were doing what I wanted to do. I have never looked back, I have since gained a lot more muscle, as well as lowered my body fat levels... I now understand how to achieve my ideal body composition whilst being healthy & happy I have the tools, knowledge & support around me I have never been more confident on the beach. and guess what, the same limiting beliefs still some back to haunt me somedays however, now that I can honestly say I am working my body rather than against it, that's where the confidence grows and the results start to show. The prouder you become of yourself, the more energy you have & the more personal pride you gain. As your self-esteem increases, you'll set bigger goals for yourself and before you know it you're doing things you didn't think possible & your dreams have become real life. Invest in YOU ... 11.01.2022 Random training and random eating = random results! Whereas, Intentional training coupled with intentional eating for your goals = targeted results ... Who agrees with me!?

08.01.2022 You don't move a muscle without a motive! What's your motive to move? Maybe you're keen to keep up with your kids, or maybe you're curious to see what you can really achieve?... Regardless, here is my tip from my own experiences this weekend: Our minds are designed to make life EASY & to choose the route of comfort, so just ensure your motive and your why is big enough!! I could blame peer pressure for having me sign up to a Spartan race at the end of this month, or I could honestly say I am curious to check it out, have some fun with like-minded individuals and test myself in another physical capacity. Either way, I'll be doing it. The group training session we did was out of my comfort zone, my peers tell me I'm strong, so I was worried I wouldn't master the monkey bars & be able to 'live up' to that identity. I honestly wasn't looking forward to the burpees and the running (It was my first time running this year!) However, as you can see here by the end of the session I was doing a max. dead hang with a 20kg weighted vest!! Yes, I surprised myself and felt like the hulk afterwards , but what really inspired me to hang in there was my motive. My motive to not let the team down and ensure we all have a great time while pushing ourselves physically. My motive to have fun while giving this event my best shot. 03.01.2022 SUCH a great day at the Spartan Race yesterday with this fantastic bunch of people It was challenging, dirty, physical and fun!! As a team we managed to get through each obstacle with speed, strength and not too many penalty burpees #forcedtorun Anyone considering doing such an event, I would highly recommend doing some resistance training prior, as whole body strength will help you enjoy the race, rather than struggle through the course ...
