15.01.2022 I don't know much about Melbourne Cup or racing, but I was listening to Macca all Over 612ABC radio program on Sunday morning. Keith, an elder statesman of racing who sounded very knowledgeable, was on his show and gave the tip that horses bred with stamina for a long course like they are in New Zealand and Ireland are the ones to watch. He named NZ mare Verry Elleegant (try typing that name and predictive text wanting to correct!) as a top tip. He also thought Russian Camelot would be amongst first 3 over line finish line. For the life of me I can't remember what else he thought would be worth backing. Good luck
