22.01.2022 As we approach the end of the year, how have you been keeping on track with your goals? Do you create a vision board every year or are you more of the wishing and manifesting type? I have a vision board and a goal-setting planner to keep me organised, motivated and focused. However, this year looks a little different than planned, since my clients businesses closed for several months due to COVID. So, I’m giving myself grace on the goals I missed and celebrating the ones I was still able to accomplish. How about you, friend? Were you able to keep your goals on track? Either way, you’re a winner in my book!

I’m a successful entrepreneur and business coach and something many people don’t know about me is that I was my bush school’s (total number of students = 10) receptionist at the age of 7 answering all incoming telephone calls. In fact, I still remember my primary school phone number! Now, all of my contacts are stored in my cell phone, so there’s no need to memorize phone numbers anymore.... Although I sometimes miss my old ‘job’, I’m grateful for the evolution of the telephone because now, mine allows me to connect with my clients and family from all over the world with the simple click of a button. 05.01.2022 I'd be lying if I said that "I've been coping just fine" the last few months. Sure, I've had a positive outlook for the most part and have accepted it for what it is, but just like the rest of us who have been hit hard, I have had some challenging days. Over the last 26 years I have built my company, Optimum Operating Procedures & Services (better known as OOPS), over strong foundational services including training, coaching and mystery shopping. And boy have I missed the op...portunity to provide these services! While online technology is fantastic in keeping us connected, there's nothing quite like meeting your clients in person and sharing a connection with a frontline team that isn't virtual. Personally, nothing can compare to being able to meet with your clients face to face and just simply connect, or recognise their improvements through our OOPS Awards; or even the praise from a team member after they've had a lightbulb moment with you.
