21.01.2022 What are the benefits of exfoliating?? There are many different types of exfoliation the main 2 differences are manual or chemical. Manual exfoliants include granules such as pumice, volcanic rock, apricot kernels and sugars to name a few. Chemical exfoliants are ingredients like salicylic, glycolic and fruit acids, enzymes and products that basically exfoliate the skin without you needing to manually work them on your skin. No matter which one you choose exfoliation IS IMPOR...TANT!! It removes dead skin buildup which then allows product to penetrate better into your skin, gives your skin a fresher more even appearance and makes your skin feel softer. Exfoliating also works to stimulate fresh blood and brings healthy cells to the surface of your skin making your skin plumper (which we all want ), brighter and look more youthful. Exfoliate 1/2 times per week but no more as adverse effects may occur such as redness, dryness and irritated skin.
