16.01.2022 Even on these freezing winter days its important to always remove thick, bulky clothing before getting into the car. While these keep little ones warm they can... be dangerous when worn in the car. The harness/seatbelt can appear to be tight and sitting in the correct place however in a crash the bulk from the clothes will compress leaving a loose and possibly misplaced harness/seatbelt. If this happens the harness/seatbelt might not be able to do its job in keeping little ones as safe as possible in a crash. See more

11.01.2022 Did you know that children have special rights? They include the right to play, the right for children to have a say in things that affect them, the right to a... safe home environment, education and health care plus many more. More than 40 children’s rights are protected in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Today is World Children’s Day, the anniversary of the CRC, when we celebrate children and promote their rights. In 2020 this is particularly important, as COVID-19 has severely affected children, and many of their rights protected in the CRC. 08.01.2022 A meltdown is not a choice, it's a byproduct of a brain that isn't coping with something. And that brain needs to be showered in love, compassion and safety. Not punishment, fear or shame. https://www.allisondavies.com.au/meltdown-whats-going-on-i/
