22.01.2022 Can't believe another term has disappeared and only one to go now! Term 4 always disappears so quickly, especially for year 12s. I know it can sometimes feel like you're running a marathon, getting through the school year. I hope everyone has a relaxing break now and will be feeling refreshed enough to finish the last leg of the race.

15.01.2022 Happy winter holidays everyone! Some people are on holidays already, some will be at the end of the week. It's a nice time of year for students and parents to relax and refresh themselves ready for the second half of the year. Term 3 is always such a busy one! If parents are wanting to keep their primary age children thinking about maths, a good way to do that is through board games. Monopoly is particularly good for practising a range of maths skills, without even realising ...it! Senior students may find themselves still needing to do a little revision during the break. For year 11 students doing the new senior subjects it is a good time to take stock of how you are going and to make sure you still remember the work you did earlier in the year. If you are disappointed with the results you have so far, remember that the marks from year 11 are only formative and do not go towards your ATAR. So you have an opportunity to increase your understanding of work completed so far in order to improve your results on future tests. The main thing these holidays though is to make sure you have some downtime. So enjoy the holidays, and stay safe.

15.01.2022 Hi everyone, I hope you've all settled into the new year at school. It's getting towards the busy end of the term with exams so make sure you're getting a good balance between studying and having some relaxation time. If anyone is looking for extra support with their maths I have just a couple of weekend timeslots left so feel free to get in touch. Regards, Michelle

08.01.2022 Well everyone - we're half way through term 2 already!! I hope all the year 11 students out there are remembering to keep revising ALL the topics they've done this year. Some students may have had a test in term 1 but many didn't and the test at the end of this term (in a few weeks away) should cover all topics from the beginning of the year. And don't forget that next year - at the end of year 12 - you will be tested on EVERYTHING you have done since the beginning of year 11. So if there are concepts that you haven't quite understood now is the time to make sure you seek help to get on top them now. Good luck everyone!
