22.01.2022 Nature at its finest I love finding inspiration in life’s simple pleasures like looking for beautiful shells on the beach with my daughters. It makes my heart sing seeing them sifting through the pebbles and admiring the beauty of each unique piece This is what life is all about

13.01.2022 CAD and 3D models have come so far, but I love how hand sketches are still the fastest way to unlock my intuition and creativity. This little gem only took a few minutes but resolved so many design decisions

06.01.2022 Wasn’t it warm for a winters day today? The girls and I spent the day on the beach making the most of the sunshine I’m quite sure we saw a few whales pass by which was amazing Pretty happy to have them in bed now so Hubby and I can unwind together in front of the fireplace before a busy day of work tomorrow. Hope you’re all having a relaxing night too! ... Image courtesy of Escea fireplaces See more

02.01.2022 Today is the anniversary of winning the International Green Interior Award for a project that I designed and led while pregnant with my first child It may seem like a few words on paper now but it took a lot of blood, sweat, tears and endless nights working until 3am That project let me test so many innovative ideas like tables that drop in and out of the ceiling with the press of a button, installing Australia’s 1st Moss Wall and taking the open plan concept to a whole new level while maintaining a sense of comfort and seclusion....These days, I have a few rug rats in tow and know that starting a business with my husband was the best decision we have ever made together!! We get to share this knowledge and passion we have for design, building and sustainability with wonderful people like you every day

01.01.2022 Super excited to hear that the Green Building Council has launched the Green Star Homes Standard This is especially important as we spend 90% of our time indoors, 2/3rds of which are at home. ‘...As a minimum, homes will need double glazed windows and doors, air filtration and LED lighting, good access to daylight in living areas and bedrooms, sufficient renewable energy generation to support the home’s operations and no fossil fuel use.’ If this pandemic has taught us a...nything, it’s that our homes are super important in supporting our physical and mental health. Focusing on getting the planning right can yield moments of joy for decades to come https://www.architectureanddesign.com.au//new-standard-unv#
