25.01.2022 The number 1 rule when purchasing a used vehicle, should be a pre purchase inspection. For a small amount of money, we could of informed this customer of the very poor condition this vehicle is in, before taking ownership of it.

23.01.2022 Wow second day in a row for accident damage. Although this one has been supposedly repaired . As you can see it has been repaired very poorly. Half welded seams on panels. Spot welds that have not penetrated. Lots of spare bolts everywhere. Unfortunately the vehicle drives as it looks.

23.01.2022 Here at Michlin motors, we cannot stress the importance enough of routine maintenance. Not just for the safety of the driver. But other road users.

22.01.2022 When purchasing a used vehicle, it is always a smart idea to get a independent inspection first. The pictures you are looking at here are, under the driver's seat and under the dash of a triton that has obviously been under water. Very heavy surface rust and sand still visible. Not to mention a putrid smell to go with it. Situations like this could pose some serious electrical and mechanical issues further on down the track.

21.01.2022 This little beauty was sent into us for a roadworthy certificate. Very original apart from the right hand drive conversion.

20.01.2022 Interesting reading https://www.thethings.com/20-reasons-why-you-shouldnt-buy-/

19.01.2022 The owner of this Amarok bought his vehicle in today with a brake noise concern. After dismantling the front brakes, we have noticed the pads and rotors have been running metal to metal for quite some time. A new set of front rotors and pads, and this vehicle is now safe to be back on the road. A situation that should of been addressed a lot sooner through regular routine maintenance.

18.01.2022 UBER RIDESHARE COI CERTIFICATES Good afternoon everyone. Just in case some of you were not aware, all of our mechanics are qualified uber and any rideshare inspectors. As well as general roadworthy certificates

14.01.2022 And we have another one. This vehicle was bought to us today for a roadworthy inspection. As you can see from the front of the vehicle, all looks fine. Under closer inspection, it wasn't. It had been in involved in a fairly large accident. With extensive chassis and reinforcement damage. It is very safe to say, it did not pass.

13.01.2022 120 series Toyota prado Conversion from Airbag to coil shock absorber suspension

12.01.2022 Here we have a Mazda tribute. It is in today for a roadworthy. As you can see this vehicle has extensive rust holes to structural suspension and body components, and should not be driven on the road. We believe Qld transport laws need to be upgraded, to what other states do, and have annual vehicle inspections for the safety of all road users.

12.01.2022 Pre purchase inspections when buying a used vehicle, is worth every dollar. Thanks to the sharp eye of one one of our mechanics, we were able to inform this customer of major accident repairs carried out to this Hilux. The chassis has been cut and re welded. With a layer of body filler to try and conceal the evidence.

12.01.2022 Today, this vehicle got towed into us with a suspected coil or spark plug type misfire. As you can see by this video, water and coolant is pouring out of the exhaust. Which is a confirmation of a blown head gasket

10.01.2022 The owner of this vehicle is probably unaware of the presence of vermin damage done to this engine bay. This could result in major issues further down the track.

09.01.2022 Seems to the week for it. Lovely old Cadillac. Did we mention we repair all makes and models

08.01.2022 What you see here is a job people may think is easy and fairly straightforward... All this work just to replace the little centre vent outlets on a Suzuki. Almost a dash out job. Happy Friday all.

07.01.2022 This little i30 we have in at work today, is a classic example of the lack of routine servicing. All that engine oil sludge you see, can cause major engine damage, due to oil starvation to all internal components. All could be avoided through regular oil and filter changes.

05.01.2022 First job for the day. We repair all makes and models here at michlin motors.

03.01.2022 First big job of the day done and dusted. The customer was having rear suspension load issues, as you can see by the sagging rear end. So we have upgraded his rear suspension to heavier duty springs, and airbags. There is now a lot more ground clearance and a capable load capacity

03.01.2022 This vehicle got presented to us with a concern of using coolant and heavy misfire in the engine. Upon removing coil packs and pressure testing the cooling system. We have found small cracks through the cylinder head, leaking straight onto the spark plug and coil packs, hence the misfire. This will be a very expensive repair to carry out.

03.01.2022 There isn't much metal holding the spare wheel in this vehicle anymore.

03.01.2022 Here is a blast from the past. Lovely little mini for a roadworthy. Very hard to find in such good condition.

02.01.2022 We all love our jobs here at Michlin motors

01.01.2022 Hey!! I was sleeping there
