23.01.2022 Thank you all so very much, it has taken me some time and tissues to be able to read through all your beautiful words, I always said Michonne was the new Cheers, where everyone knew your name we knew what wine you would like, what songs you would dance to, what personalities would work to introduce new friends to each other and most of all feel important and at home in our house. I’m now not crying it’s over, I’m smiling we achieved this and your beautiful words have proven that. Stay safe everyone and continue to go your hardest supporting local Thank you

12.01.2022 It is with tears and a smile of achievement that Mark and I wish to advise you that Michonne will not be reopening. Over the years, we have been in the Port, we have been embraced by the community, met and become friends with many amazing people. Our memories will never fade, we have become more educated with the awesome wine and wisdom nights, had so many laughs, danced a lot(well I did lol) shared the odd shots at knock off, mastered the art of bar top dancing and helped a... few charities along the way, to name a few of the most sacred memories we hold. You will see us around doing our bit to support the surviving small businesses when we are allowed and look forward to enjoying drinks with you on the other side of the bar. We wish to thank all that came and supported us along the way, the friends that have helped us set up and the ones that will help us move out, to the staff we have employed, the winemakers that made wine & wisdom nights so memorable, the musicians that filled the bar with the beautiful sound of music and our landlord for being so understanding during this terrible pandemic, THANK YOU ALL.
