22.01.2022 One of my classes had some very good questions regarding this pose, Badda Konasana. Here is an alternative to the forward fold element of the pose which creates more space whilst still opening the hips. Give it a try next time

22.01.2022 With a few classes from our schedule to choose from, it can be confusing as to which one would suit you best?? Here’s a simple guide as to what you can expect from each class: Sculpt: A mixture of Yoga/Pilates and Cardio. A big emphasis on the Core but also concentrating on stabilising muscles for strength. A short and fast paced class to get your heart rate up with many options to suit most people. ... Yin/Yoga Nidra: Slow, long hold stretches to help create more mobility in the body and completed with a guided meditation for total relaxation. Quiet meditative class which is suitable for all levels. Vinyasa: A well rounded class which includes breathing techniques, Yoga flows/movement, stretching and short relaxation. A class that incorporates strengthening, stretching, mobility and balancing. A medium paced class, once again with options to suit most people. A particularly good class for those who have trouble settling their mind down. Release & Restore: A slower paced class with a mixture of gentle yoga poses and an emphasis on relaxation. Suitable for all levels. Gentle: Don’t let the name fool you, this class still does plenty of strengthening. A practical class that includes poses that help to enable the body to do everyday tasks easier whilst being mindful of being kinder on the joints.

But when a friend said she had read it and offered to drop it off to me for me to read, I couldn’t refuse - Thankyou!! Xx... Gratitude, empathy and mindfulness. Something we can all do and practice a bit more, especially after the rush of Christmas and the hangover of 2020.

08.01.2022 This little card made my day.... my week even. I had the most beautiful surprise left for me after tonight’s class. Such kind words from a gorgeous lady that will be so very missed in West Wyalong (especially Yin class!) you know who you are. Sometimes I wonder why I was drawn to do this and if it really helps or makes a difference to anyone? and then I get something like this and I think this is exactly why I do this ... I love our Yogi community xxx

07.01.2022 Goodbye 2020. A year like no other! A year where we were challenged beyond what we could have ever imagined. A year of lessons and being pushed out of comfort zones. Whilst not the most happiest year for many it was a year to learn and grow. While we were in such a rush for things to go back to normal, it was a perfect opportunity to create a new normal and that is exactly what I’ve decided to do for 2021 #watchthisspace ... A massive Thankyou to each and everyone who makes up our amazing Yogi community. We should be proud of what we’ve all created and continue to grow. I am blessed beyond belief to have the opportunity to practice with you each and every week Merry Christmas! Enjoy time with your loved ones, whether they are family by blood or family by choice. Be present in the moment and soak it all up. Here’s to 2021

01.01.2022 The Sculpt class has a focus on strength, intensity and mobility. It combines Yoga, Pilates and Cardio, making it unlike your typical class. The muscles targeted in Sculpt specifically strengthen the muscles surrounding and supporting the joints and a big emphasis on core strength. One of the best things about the class is that you can always modify your practice. Class will never become too easy or too hard. There are loads of options. ... And it’s fun! When you combine Yoga, Pilates, Cardio, sweat and up-beat music, your practice is transformed. Not only do these classes strengthen your body, but they also strengthen and challenge your mind. 01.01.2022 Spring has sprung, sun is out and it feels like everyone’s energy and good vibes are lifting after the Winter season Just checking in with a few items: If you are unwell, please stay at home. We aren’t going anywhere and you can pick classes up when you are feeling yourself again. ... Use the hand sanitiser upon arrival. If you aren’t partial to the supplied sanitiser then you can wash your hands at the basin or use your own sanitiser. Ideally bring your own equipment however I am happy for you to use our mats/bolsters/blocks as long as they are cleaned afterwards with the supplied cleaning products. If you aren’t sure where they are then just ask Yoga mats - fingers crossed I can get some more mats from our supplier in the next month or so with new designs but in the meantime, check out our new Dharma Bums Yogawear Classes have been filling up quickly which is AMAZING and I super super grateful for everyone, you guys are rockin your Yoga practice!! We understand life happens, things pop up and cancellations are sometimes unavoidable, however, if you are cancelling last minute or not showing up then you are taking someone’s else’s spot. Especially now with class number restrictions. Please let me know with as much notice as possible so I can pop someone else is your place, otherwise normal class fees will still apply (I hate doing this but let’s be fair) So good to see so many of you getting on your mats, I love seeing your faces each week #gratefulandthankful
