22.01.2022 Im not the only person on Productreview.com.au that has been burnt by Sky drive automotives.
16.01.2022 I bought a Mazda van from Sky Drive automotives in Yagoona six months ago, complete with a 12 month warranty. It didn't even make the 15 minute drive home before breaking down... Repaired under warranty it was returned with only 3 of its 4 cylinders operating....When it was finally returned weeks later it broke down the next day on a highway, less than a hour travelled. Mick Ayoubi refuses to answer my emails, calls or reply to my messages. If I call him on a different phone... he will answer and promise action, like a mobile machanic will turn up on Monday but they don't. I have receipts for over $1200 for rented vans during this period as the van was bought for work purposes as Mick is aware. He has refused outright a refund, which the department of fair tradings assures me I am legally entitled to. This review is a public attempt to settle this dispute, next stop will be legal action via the NSW fair trading. Mick I suggest you contact me quickly. BTW this car yard doesn't seem to keep actual operating hours, I have tried to visit during the day and about 9 out of 10 times it has been locked. They only advertise through Gumtree. Not your typical professional car dealer. Note the 5 star review from a family member....
12.01.2022 This is a testimonial from another Sky Drive customer Maurice Llewellyn that has arrived in the visitor review. I recently purchased a used BMW from Mick Ayoubi in March 2018. By the time I had driven it home to Merimbula the same day the coolant light was on. After replacing the cracked radiator and sensor my mechanic pointed out that it had been very badly repaired using araldite glue. The result of which now meaning the vehicle needs new heads and gaskets. Upon full inspec...tion there are over $6000 dollars of repairs needed due to sub standard work done on the vehicle just to get it past the blue slip needed to drive it off the lot. When I tried to utilize the 12 mth warranty it covered absolutely nothing and was useless. When I tried to contact Mick I got the run around until he finally answered and basically said he would do nothing in regards to this situation. With only a 3 month registration the vehicle is now parked and awaiting repairs having failed the recent pink slip inspection while I wait to hear from NSW Fair trading on what to do next since they have already contacted Skydrive and were told they would do nothing. Their excuse was "We're not mechanics. You need to take it up with the warranty company." Be warned when dealing with this car yard. They are uncooperative, shady, rude and dishonest to say the least Comments

01.01.2022 Yet another person who has had a negative experience with SKY DRIVE I've been wondering if anyone has resolved there issues as I'm going through the same issues atm. Hi Allena... Sorry to hear that you are in a similar position as I am. I feel confident that we will get our money back, which I have been told is possible through fair trading. The NSW government will take him to court at no expense to us. The more complaints they receive the quicker the action will be, This scam traditionally works because we have not lost enough money to be bothered to invest the time to fully follow through with the complaint process. Also its hard to want to admit to being ripped off! The reality is it does not take that much time to follow through. Even though I have been very busy building my business this year, I have found time to ring the NSW fair trading and know my rights, put up a warning / detailed account on the google review of Sky Drive Automotive which I suggest you do asap. His self placed 5 star review has dropped to 2 stars, since others reading this page have added there experiences. This will already be costing him lost sales and alerting the public to his dishonesty which is the LAST thing he wants! I have emailed Gumtree who have advised me to report this fraud to the police which I will do today. Next will be to the local state and federal politicians. The more people who complain to these bodies, the quicker the result. Making a complaint to NSW Fair trading , Gumtree and the Police will have an effect. Posting the Google review will hit him where it hurts the most in the short term :) Could you leave a basic description of what happened to you here? Easiest just to write then copy and paste your own Google review here, then to Gumtree and the police. Best wishes!
