He has a beautiful temperament, is long bodied and is structurally sound, so don't miss out!!!!! He is Lot 62 in the sale! The second photo is of his mum, 9 year old cow with a heifer calf at foot, both doing incredibly well.

14.01.2022 What an amazing day for Mickey Mouse Gelbvieh's in the show ring at Brisbane Royal!!! Mickey Mouse Mercury won reserve champion senior bull, Mickey Mouse Nite Ryder won reserve champion Junior bull coming second to my absolute rippa of a bull Mickey Mouse Neptune who took out Junior and Grand Champion bull!!! Mercury and Nite Ryder also won pair of bulls! Wish I could be there to celebrate but a big thank you to all the crew Kylie Hamilton, Annie Minehan and Amanda Batterham. An even bigger thank you to my wonderful supportive parents Julie and Aderian Nixon.

11.01.2022 Had a good show at the Ekka with Mickey Mouse Lex Luther as he got first in a difficult class of junior bulls. Now he is very tired and ready to go home. As well as Mickey Mouse Lochness who didn't place in a difficult class of 9. Overall a good first Royal show.

05.01.2022 Ok I know you are eager to find out what's the competition for tomorrow so here it is!!! We are doing a clipping demo but the animals we will be using will be ...washed in different ways which will remain a secret until tomorrow when the photos will be posted. So the rules are as follows: 1. All are allowed to compete, any age, any where. 2. The photos will be posted at 9.00am 3. The voting for which way you think they have been washed will open at 9:00am QLD Time and close at 2:00pm QLD Time. 4. Only one vote per person. 5. Votes are to be sent as a private message to the HQYA Annual Youth Show page. 6. The animals photos will be one to three and the way they will be washed will be A, B and C. Weetalabah Cattle Services and HQYA have kindly donated a cap for the winner. For those coming out the rules are slightly different and you will find out when you arrive. 05.01.2022 A successful weekend at the National Hereford youth camp in Inverell with my cow and calf getting 3rd and most importantly the Judge commenting that my calf was going to be a great bull.

04.01.2022 And it's competition time!!! Bit of a back story the bulls haven't been washed before and the heifer hasn't been since August. So the 3 animals were washed 3 d...ifferent ways but we are going to give you 4 different ways to judge and they are as follows; A - Blue ribbon shampoo, washed forward and combed down then brushed down and combed forward. Then sprayed with livermol and brushed and combed forward. B - Truck wash shampoo and bluo, washed forward and combed down then brushed down and combed forward. Then sprayed with a zoom bloom, clean shean combo and brushed and combed forward. C - Blue ribbon shampoo, washed randomly and and scrubbed in circles then combed forward. Then sprayed with livermol and combed forward. D - Truck wash shampoo and bluo, washed randomly and scrubbed in circles then combed forward. Then sprayed with livermol and combed forward. For reference there are photos of the products used. So for all participating please send through your answers via private message as e.g. 1-C to this page. Or to Aleacea Nixon. 01.01.2022 This weekend I attended the Herefords Australia National Youth Expo in Pittsworth where I took Mickey Mouse Magic Mike and he placed 1st in his class and won reserve champion bull. I also took a heifer that I own and she placed 3rd in a difficult class. I also bought my first lot of semen at the semen auction. As well as the success of my stud I also won National Paraders and Herdsman and placed in Junior Judging and Public Speaking which resulted in me becoming the Herefords Australia National Champion. Along with this I won Intermediate Herdsman and then became Reserve Champion Herdsman for the Queensland part of thr show. Overall it was a very successful and busy show.
