17.01.2022 Hazard reduction burning is a must in the Top End. I use a empty 44 behind my quad to roll the spear grass, then if you light it up at 3pm it will burn hotter ...and penetrate more of the bush but if you light it up later about 5pm, it will only burn what is rolled. costs 10 litres of fuel and about 8 hours labour for 20 acres, always better if a friend helps you ! I made this video a few years ago when a similar thing happened to me but with a slightly different outcome . Wonder if the DPP will stick up for the intruders again this time? See more

09.01.2022 My Daughter and I have a drawing competition every so often about a set topic , my other kids judge the winner...The topic this time is" Ocean and Space", My D...aughter has a human theme to the topic, one off endeavour and exploration surrounded by our trait of leaving a mess behind where ever we go! I have looked at oceans as being liquid so propellers can make thrust, air is also a liquid so propellers can make thrust, now science says that the black part of space has mass !! so it also must be a liquid ? but because it is such a thin liquid maybe it needs a massive propeller to generate thrust, a propeller as big as a galaxy perhaps? The Andromeda galaxy and our galaxy, the Milky Way are traveling towards each other at 110 km / second (wikipedia) my drawing shows various propeller driven vehicles in our oceans and space....and Santa hitching a ride with a galaxy, because the reindeer are in cv-19 lockdown. 01.01.2022 Launch of new "Whip Museum " at Micks Whips Homestead 07/10/2020 lunch time, Free entry on the day ( great school holiday activity) Will also be launching a new... "Whip Crackers Club" A component of the museum will be a crocodile catching exhibition (Mick has been harvesting crocs for nearly 20 years and making croc skin products for 30 years) this exhibit is from a 4.4m croc that had its jaws broken and nose ripped of in a fight but still went on to live for a number of years later. 01.01.2022 Hi Everyone, got some small whips happening today, very fast "Northern stars" is the name of the trick. I will be submitting this one and a few others as "World... Records by a man over 50 years old." Very happy to break the 11/second Mark ... I recon I can squeeze a few more but not too many. I would really like everyone to think of ways you can get your self a "World record m8" and then do it ! .... it doesn't cost anything accept some energy and it is rewarding , fun and satisfying, similar to a chocolate bar but it lasts longer!
