24.01.2022 How good are Linear Graphics..... turning the old BT-50 into this shiny new Transit!

24.01.2022 Don’t underestimate the danger faulty electrical decorations can create - the last thing anyone needs is a fire, electrical shock or electrocution! Check your l...ights before putting them up on your Christmas tree, house or backyard area and dispose of them if they are damaged or frayed. As this video demonstrates, it only takes a matter of minutes for a fire to start and disaster to strike. See more

22.01.2022 Excited to be supporting the Highfields Soccer Club on their 20th anniversary!! Come and see Mick get dunked by the kids after their game, pick up some yummy treats from the bake sale and enter the raffles! Lots of fun things for the kids to do! Saturday 27th April - first home games of the season and there will be games all day and I to the evening!

20.01.2022 Voltex weatherproof power points on the outside of this shed for rain water pump and also swimming pool pumps and lights being installed soon. The profile of this colourbond doesn’t allow a double power point to sit flat so a small length of cable tray was installed to keep everything lined up and looking neat . #proudofvoltex

19.01.2022 Just finished off the wiring of this shed today. Plenty of power points, some industrial 15 amp and 20 amp outlets, 17 lights, a vehicle hoist and a switchboard. Just because it’s a shed doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be a neat job. With all the wiring on display it’s very satisfying to show off my work

19.01.2022 Was a pleasure helping Somerfield Constructions with the transformation of this old home.

18.01.2022 Out with the old and in with the new on this rewire. Getting rid of the old original split metal conduit and rubber insulated cable and installing all new cables for the lights. Along with installing ceiling fans and a switchboard upgrade.

14.01.2022 Finished off this shed install today. Customer wanted plenty of light so we’ve used a combination of Led batten lights in rows as well as a Led high bay in the middle. All switched separately for versatility. We’ve also installed a sub-board on the shed and plenty of 10 amp and 15 amp power points.

13.01.2022 Area lighting installed on a customer supplied pole. 2 x 200w Pierlite Led flood lights with separate time clock control and easy to use bypass switches to allow easy override outside of the set time clock hours.

12.01.2022 Spent the morning crawling around under this 1950’s house. It only had 1 power circuit for all the power points and this has caused overloading problems especially during winter when the tenants start plugging heaters in. So I’ve installed 5 new power points throughout the house connected to a new circuit so the load can be shared between the 2 circuits.

12.01.2022 Mick got dunked!!! By his Under 7 Lightning team! Kids smashed him

12.01.2022 This guy is keeping an eye on my work today.

12.01.2022 Proud to be a sponsor of this amazing soccer club..... especially on this beautiful Saturday

12.01.2022 We love soccer

11.01.2022 This is not just a Victorian thing. We still occasionally find this type of cabling in ceilings throughout the Toowoomba region. A simple Electrical inspection along with you building and pest when buying a property can identify these issues and save you thousands of dollars and potentially a life!

10.01.2022 Getting started today breathing some new life into this old gable home in Mt Lofty for Garden City Constructions. A full rewire along with relocating and upgrading the switchboard, and all new fittings throughout will see this place end up better than new.

09.01.2022 Completed this installation on an Ergon Energy truck recently. Generator box on the drivers side feeds to a couple of industrial outlets on the passenger side with safety switch/circuit breaker protection built in. Double pole switches for the outlets to comply with mobile vehicle regulations.

08.01.2022 22 years in the industry and still I see something new. Customer getting tingles in the shower. This is not an uncommon problem and often is worse in really dry weather. However this one was different. Testing found that the cast iron bath tub was live, showing 50-60 volts. When standing in the tub, touching the taps completed the path to earth causing the tingle. The fault was eventually found to be a dodgy tv in the lounge room that was putting out 95 volts on the metal ho...using parts including the antenna input. The voltage was then travelling up through the antenna cable to the antenna, which was in turn livening up the corrugated iron roof. This was in contact with the galvanised vent pipe which was in turn connected to the waste pipe of the bath. Not an easy find and had me scratching my head for a while but got there in the end!! Tv unplugged and problem solved See more

06.01.2022 Well played Mr Plumber

03.01.2022 Come and support our local Soccer Club celebrate 20 years!!! Lots of fun and lots of soccer going on!!! This Saturday 27th April

02.01.2022 Mick’s going to get wet tomorrow when the kids ‘dunk the coach’!!! https://www.facebook.com/Highfieldsfc/

02.01.2022 Underground conduit and cables installed this afternoon for connection to a shed. This shed will have a bit of gear in it like a hoist, compressor and welder etc so 40amp submains have been put in to allow for all possibilities.
