19.01.2022 Ongoing Acid Mine Water Treatment project within the NT, Australia MMS has been contracted to use its Australian Patented Micro Reactor Technology and reagent to process stored Acid Mine Water at a mine site south of Darwin in the Northern Territory. The process precipitates out the key dissolved metals and reduces sulphate levels to enable efficient, low dilution rate and safe release of treated water into the environment. The unique features of the MMS Micro Reactor Technol...ogy process: 1) The capability to use in-situ pit water without the requirement for the addition of pH neutral water during the solids to liquids treatment process. 2) The Micro Reactor plant is mobile and fully transportable to remote mine sites 3) It does not require large scale expensive fixed slaking infrastructure See more

10.01.2022 This week sees the start of our Commercialisation Project: Micronised Mineral Solutions has developed an innovative process to decontaminate acid mine drainage and toxic mine water, enabling its safe discharge into the environment and ensuring water quality is within the Australian Water Quality Guidelines for Fresh and Marine Waters (ANZECC). This process does not require millions of dollars in CapEx or the supply of fresh water, making it a leading option to solving Austra...lias toxic mine water issues. This process reduces both mine operational costs and the risk of an environmental disaster through accidental discharge. Accelerating Commercialisation support will enable this process to be commercialised quickly, enabling the MMS process of decontaminating toxic mine waters to be a world first. See more

07.01.2022 Micronised Mineral Solutions - an innovator in environmental remediation - the Case Study outlining the success of their latest decontamination project is now available. The MMS process removed better than 99.6% of toxic metals and improved the pH in 1.4 billion litres of acid mine water. https://eworld.dataquestdigital.com.au//Case-Study-The-use __________________________________________________________... In this trial, MMS used a combination of 1,760 tonnes of its proprietary reagent, Enviro Catalyst (patent pending), and its specifically designed Dry Shear (patent pending) technology to process the 1,380 megalitres of Acid Mine Water stored in the pit. At the completion of the trial the following advantages in the use of MMSs Acid Mine Water Decontamination Process were confirmed: * High reduction in dissolved metals (approximately 99.6% of measured metals were precipitated from the pit water). * Achieved ANZECC 80% standards without dilution for measured metals. * Stable and uniform water quality following the trial. * No requirement for fresh, pH neutral water for the treatment process (in situ pit water used). * No requirement for expensive slaking infrastructure. * Treatment volumes of up to 170 tonnes of Enviro Catalyst per 12 hours of operation, potential to treat 1,380 mega-litres in 8 days. * High pH levels achieved and maintained (8.5pH as at the date of this case study). * Stabilised sulphate level of 2,000mg/litre. * Uniform penetration of the reagent over the 600m length of the pit and throughout the various depths of the water during processing. * Resistance to rainfall and surface water contamination (no negative change in dissolved metals with an initial 160mm of rain post-processing of the pit) * Independent, third-party sampled and reported data.

06.01.2022 In keeping with our Environmental Policy Make a Difference, Micronised Mineral Solutions has installed a Solar Energy System at our office in East Arm with a capacity of 9 kilo watts. We believe it is our responsibility to contribute to the environment in every possible way! Going Solar is one of the steps towards achieving it. Solar Power is Clean Power. Solar power systems derive clean, pure energy from the sun. It helps to decrease our carbon footprint to help protect th...e environment. Solar Energy also reduces greenhouse gas emissions as the electricity produced by solar panels has zero emissions. So lets go Solar 5 benefits of Solar Power:- 1) Saves Water Traditional electricity production can use thousands of litres of water each year for cooling generators, processing and refining fuel and transporting fuel through pipes. While power generated through solar panels uses no water thereby helping us save this precious natural resource. 2) Reduces Air Pollution Electricity generation from fossil fuels can generate harmful carbon dioxide and methane gases - lowering the quality of air we breathe. The resulting air pollution can trigger asthma, allergies, headaches, bronchitis and anxiety. Solar panel energy generation produces no harmful emissions helping to reduce toxic emissions into our air. 3) Helps to slow climate change The toxic gases released into atmosphere due to burning of fossil fuels contributes to enhanced greenhouse effect resulting in changes to world weather events such as increased floods, storms, cyclones and droughts. Solar panels produce no greenhouse gases and thereby help reduce the effect of climate change. 4) Reduces Carbon Footprint Every individual can contribute to reducing their carbon footprint to help the environment. Using solar instead of grid electricity means we reduce the need for carbon dioxide emitting energy to be produced on our behalf. 5) Reduce our dependence on fossil fuels Fossil fuels are a finite resource while solar energy supply is abundant. Taking advantage of this free source of energy would certainly reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. Lets go Solar and make the most of this cheaper energy option, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and move towards a stronger and more stable energy future.

02.01.2022 WATER TREATMENT : 1,000L TRIAL METAL TEST RESULTS ARE IN 98% reduction in dissolved metals... pH 8.7 (target to drop to mid 7s in the coming months) ANZECC Dilution Rate: 3.5:1 (232 times improvement) Following a series of 1L tests, the calculated amount of the reagent Enviro Catalyst was used to treat 2 x 1,000L IBCs of toxic mine water. The trial was conducted over 10 days to simulate real world treatment, the treated water was allowed to flocculate for 10 days to remove the suspended metals/sulphates before sending samples off for residual contaminant levels analyses.
