21.01.2022 What did you have for lunch yesterday? You might be surprised at how many people will struggle to recall and answer a seemingly simple question. That's because their lunch came and went without a thought. Their nutrition (fuel for your body) was not a priority, just another task to tick off the days list.... When we eat with intention we acknowledge how food supports our individual needs and goals. Helping us feel energised, thoughtful, optimistic, comfortable, connected and satisfied. Like really enjoying time spent with friends and family sharing delicious nutrient filled food and making memories. I'd like to create an opportunity for you this week! Every time you eat/drink... 1 STOP (half the battle!) No more eating on the run. Make eating a priority. 2 ask yourself "WHY am I eating this?" Will it nourish me? How will it affect my health? Will I enjoy it? How will I feel in an hours time? 3 Make a DECISION to enjoy quality food! Because it is a decision, you have choice and you are responsible. 4 SHARE these thoughts and practises with a friend, spouse, colleague or parent. In a space of conversation and giving, not criticism or judgment.
