If you or a family member are exhibiting any signs or symptoms of being unwell, please contact your GP or your local Queensland Health Fever and Respiratory Clinic and stay at home. 22.01.2022 Middle Green as of tomorrow 12 noon will be at stage 3 of easing restrictions. What this means: You can now: come to the bar and order drinks order food at the bistro... play pokies what restrictions are still in place: only 1 person per 4 square meters in the venue. We must record everyone’s details in our covid-19 visitors register You must stay at least 1.5 meters from anyone else, unless they are part of your family group. Inside dining has limited space due to the 1-4 rule so bookings for tables is essential Food can still be ordered for pickups; deliveries have been put on hold. To stay compliant and keep everyone safe we recommend everyone has the Covid safe app installed prior to visiting. Please understand that Covid-19 is not over, we can all see what is happening in Victoria and I know none of us want that here in our great state and be locked down again or even worse consequences.. so we all need to stay vigilant and follow the rules; stay at home if you’re sick, wash your hands regularly, stay 1.5 from other people. 15.01.2022 Good News; Just a quick note to let you know that Middle Green will be open for sit down lunch and dinners from Thursday the 18th of June... Bad News; unfortunately we will be fully closed until Thursday the 18th and won't be able to do any pickups or deliveries this week. The reason we are closing for a week is to repair flooring damage in our kitchen from the ram raid that occurred in December, yes it is still getting fixed.. we tried to have this repaired in a day but it ...will take several days to complete, so we are taking this opportunity to attend to some maintenance that we would not normally be able to do due whilst the kitchen is running. We appreciate your understanding in this and we all look forward to seeing you all again soon.

14.01.2022 Thank you to everyone for your feedback, we really appreciate it. A new menu means we can try new dishes, which is what we have done, some have been a hit like the Coconut chilli prawns while others are a miss like the pork medallions. We were listening and have removed the medallions and replaced it with a Pork Cordon Bleu it’s a cut of tender pork loin filled with ham and brie cheese, yes; "double pork" crumbed and golden fried, topped with a melted herb butter, served with a fresh garden salad and beer battered chips. we will post a photo soon. This is a casual position with around 25-38 hours per week. Previous experience in the hospitality or a customer related industry is preferred, you must possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service and have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills. To be successful in this role you would need to possess t...he following essential skills & competencies: Honest, reliable, friendly and approachable Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure Reliability and the flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts, which may include public holidays A willingness to learn and undertake training when required Ability to coach and guide others when required Excellent communication skills Time management and organisational skills High standard of personal presentation Experience and Qualifications: Minimum 1-2 years of bar experience RSA is essential Working rights in Australia Previous experience in a Community Club environment is a distinct advantage Covid safe training for Dining in. 07.01.2022 As your probably aware the government has moved up the schedule for easing restrictions in Queensland and we are all very excited about this and can’t wait to see your smiling faces, but before we can open we have a little bit of work to do to enable us to keep you and our staff safe from Covid-19 whilst dining in our venue. With the new Roadmap that was released we require an industry Covid safe plan to be approved by the health department which will outline how we are allow...ed to operate whilst having more patrons in our venue and keeping them safe, this plan is currently with the health department for approval, please note that gaming, including Keno and pokies is still not allowed until the 10th of July. We all understand that covid-19 has changed our lives and it will also change what a visit to the club will be like due to the rules that we need to have in place to keep you and us safe. We currently don't have all the information required for opening as yet and are waiting for clarification once the plan has been approved. Once approved we will be digesting what requirements we need to have in place to allow us to open safely and while we are waiting we are using this time to restock supplies to be able to serve you when you visit. We currently don’t have a set date as yet to when we will be allowing sit down dining but until then we will continue to operate as a take away, pickup and delivery only and will update you once we know more. The health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority. We have the best interests of our members and staff at heart and will do our best to help our community through this challenging time. Stay safe and see you soon.

02.01.2022 Containers for change is back at Middle Green. Come in between 11am and 8pm, print off your tickets, place them on your bags with eligible containers and drop the bags in the purple bins. Sit back and the funds will be deposited into your account in few days. Simple.

01.01.2022 To all our members and guests, due to the new rules for licenced venues that were introduced on Friday, and to ensure that we are complying, we ask all visitors to the club to use our front entrance and to please sign in as our back gate will be shut. We have to take this step to ensure that all persons are signed in and have an allocated seat whilst in the venue, this includes visitors to the beer garden. We are sorry it has to be like this but we are doing what we can to ensure your's and our safety during this Covid-19 pandemic. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
