We offer 4 Senior Teams who play in the Cricket Southern Bayside Competition. 2 Teams play a mixture of 2 Day, 1 Day and T20 Cricket and 2 Teams who only play 1 Day Cricket. 17.01.2022 Pre-season training is about to get under way soon and the Middle Park Cricket Club is looking for new players to join us in season 2017/18. We field four turf cricket sides and we'll be playing a mixture of 2-Day, 1-Day and T20s matches in the Cricket Southern Bayside and Mercantile Cricket Association competitions, every Saturday afternoon from October 7 (excluding Christmas and New Year's). We're based at Beaurepaire Pavillion, Albert Park (Ovals 17 & 20) just on the city ...side of the Grand Prix Pit Building, a short 5 minute drive or 10 minute tram ride from Melbourne's CBD. Pre-season training will be at the Hawthorn Cricket Centre, Saturday mornings 11am-12pm on August 19, 26 and September 2; before returning back to Albert Park. 11.01.2022 Almost time for some Christmas Eve Cricket... We're eagerly looking forward to Match 4 of our Bashes Series against The Fanatics on Christmas Eve at Middle P...ark Cricket Club. We've played here on every tour since 98/9, they are fantastic hosts and all fans are most welcome. It’s free admission, easy to get to from the city with an all day bar and BBQ. We are hoping to beat our record crowd of 650 on the day. We are 2-1 down to The Fanatics but a strong side for the match gives us hope of a famous comeback. The day begins with a warm-up match at 11.30am between The Barmy Army and Middle Park CC. Lots of us will be meeting in Beer DeLuxe Federation Square before taking the team to Middle Park. After the game, we’ll have a beer at Middle Park pub before heading back to our main Barmy Army evening HQ - Beer DeLuxe in Federation Square, opposite Flinders Street Station. From this season onwards, it is mandatory to wear kit that displays the Cricket Southern Bayside logo. Wearing white/green kit that does not have the logo will result in fines to the club. To ensure that everyone conforms to the new league rules and we show off our new sponsors, we have reduced the cost of playing kit and linked it with the club registration (membership) fee. This is a one off deal and will not be in place next year. As such, the following registration fees applies: 1. $250 - this includes your club registration fee plus one set of white kit and one set of green kit (to be worn in one dayers and t20s), as well as a training top. 2. $200 - This includes your club registration fee plus one set of green kit, as well as a training top.
