23.01.2022 GREENS POOL - OPENS TODAY After months of closure, the white sands of Greens Pool near Denmark are open to the public again. The popular beach re-opened at an... event this morning, after millions of dollars worth of upgrades to the area. The public can access the beach from 1pm. The upgrades include 2.6km of newly sealed road, more than 200 new parking bays and new toilets. WA Environment Minister Stephen Dawson says the upgrades will "enhance the visitor experience in the park that is both an environmental treasure and [a] tourism asset for Western Australia". Further upgrades to the region are ongoing, with works to provide access paths to beaches, lookouts and interpretive signage now underway.
