16.01.2022 Drum roll please...it's SHOW time! Grab the family and head out to the Pioneer Valley Show 2021 on Sunday (June 13). A number of our council teams will be... on display at the Pioneer Valley Show including Local Laws, Libraries, Shared Services and Pest Management teams. Tuesday to Thursday next week is also Show week for Mackay at the Mackay Show Precinct. Council's display has moved locations this year and will be on the ground floor of the 500 Pavilion. We'll have a mountain bike package to give away, thanks to Mackay Cycles, and interactive displays by the Sarina Sugar Shed, MECC, Water Services, Waste Services, Mackay Aquatic Recreation Complex and more. 07.01.2022 5PM UPDATE: Bloomsbury's water supply has been restored late this afternoon. With the restored supply, customers may notice cloudy or discoloured water. However..., the water is safe to drink. Customers are asked to monitor their water use and conserve water where possible. If customers experience any major disruption they can contact council on 1300 MACKAY (622 529). Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by today's disruption. It was in contact with major customers in the Bloomsbury area, including the school. Attention Bloomsbury residents Council wishes to advise customers in the Bloomsbury area there is a potential disruption to water supply due to a pump failure at the raw water bore. The failure is being investigated and council has started water carting to ensure continuity of supply for customers. Customers in the Bloomsbury area are asked to monitor their water use and conserve water where possible. If customers do notice any major disruption, they are being asked to contact council on
