14.01.2022 Midgee Alberta. Sire Chadwick Downs Regal and Dam Midgee Vickie, born 10/08/03. This is her 13th calf. Albertas 1st calf was born on 06/02/2006 and this her 13th was born on 14/03/18. Baroma Downs Fenech sired her first 4 calves. Fenech was an excellent poll and produced very dark polled calves and these first four were sold to commercial breeders in Queensland and northern NSW. Alberta has only given us 2 remales in all these years - they are still in the herd. We worried about her age and at her last preg test asked the vet to check her teeth and his comment: "she has better teeth than I have".

08.01.2022 At the risk of being boring, here is another photo of Alberta, obviously taken in a different season. The calf at foot is one of the bull calves sired by Baroma Downs Fenech. We called him Albert and he went to a commercial herd in Queensland.
