Bill had and still does work tirelessly with Glen Collins to promote, encourage and administer football in our region for both boys and girls. 17.01.2022 Hi everyone, As many of you are aware, to start training from next Monday 18th May, officials within all clubs must complete the Covid-19 infection control course. This is an online course which takes approx 30 mins.... 13.01.2022 Today was the final junior carnival organised by Glen Collins and the Midlands Regional Development Council. This shows us that football is alive and well in our regions and we are all looking forward to a much better 2021. These young lads braved the wintery conditions today, and played their little sock off. Well Done to all clubs who participated and made the day possible for the kids.

08.01.2022 West Coast Eagles Community Camp at Cervantes - unfortunately I missed getting a photo of Moora Football Club volunteer recipient, Grant OBrien. We congratulate all the recipients of these awards and their effort to the respective clubs and league.

08.01.2022 The Midlands Regional Football Development Council have organised a fantastic Umpiring Clinic to be held in Moora on Tuesday 14th March 2017. All interested people are welcomed to attend, the sessions will highlight areas such as Umpire interpretation, rules interpretations and lots of great advice for the old and new umpires located in this region. Well done to Glen Collins and Milton Milloy on their hard work to get this clinic up and running.

Avon Junior Delegate: Nick Norrish Mortlock Senior Delegate: Wes Howard Mortlock Junior Delegate: Rex Glass North Midlands Senior delegate: Grant Chadwick North Midlands Junior Delegate: Greg Hughs Central Midlands Senior delegate: Steve Gilbert Central Midlands Junior Delegate: Rayelene Wright East Avon Junior delegate: Ian McNeil WACFL Rep - Milton Milloy Well done to all the representative from each of the league for once again being involved in the RFDC. For anyone who isnt aware of the MRFDC and what we are involved in - heres a few things from the RDM (Glen Collins) report: AFL School ambassador Inductions: target is 87% of all schools in the region. School Based Carnivals: 14 to be conducted with the introduction of 3 girls carnivals. School Based Programs: school who register receive free resources for their school (Contact Glen for more information) Auskick - 41 centres are operating in the region Zone Service Agreement - This is to align the talent pathway for all talented kids in the region. Country academy Development Sessions: Midlands Regional Development Day: all 5 junior associations will play off in a round robin format competition. This year, we have the inclusion of 2 year 8 girls, and have lowered to year 7s to 10 per team rather than 12. WAFL Year 9/10 Country Carnival - in July in Perth Youth Girls Comp - aiming for a 9 per side comp and initial meetings will be held in Northam.
