24.01.2022 It might not be much - but it is finally raining. The smell is amazing. Nothing smells as fresh as rain. I can't really remember the last time we got more that a few spits of rain that didn't even dampen the earth. Even with this rain you have to really stare to see it - but it is better than nothing. Our Farm Stay guests are quite surprised at how dry it is here. Coming from the Central Coast they are used to regular rain. https://attungaparkfarmstay.wordpress.com//rain-in-a-drou/

23.01.2022 Maybe I was crazy. I left a full time permanent job that I loved. I felt I hadn't lived up to my true potential and got a management job...I ended up having 9 more jobs after that, each one paying a little more than the previous one. Now I've perhaps come full circle and I'm back doing what I love - teaching adults. Only I have a whole lot more first hand experience to share. Have you ever done something just to prove you could - when really you have nothing to prove to anyone?

23.01.2022 This gives true accounts of successful people who bloomed later in life. Our obsession with early achievement is placing too needless much stress on people

21.01.2022 He didn't give up, he learned more and applied what he had learned.

21.01.2022 As a person who didn't always neatly fit in to one particular group - it's lovely to hear about people that made it on their own terms through persistence and an undying belief in what they are meant to do.

20.01.2022 I knew it - Getting out into nature really does have health benefits. No wonder we get repeat business to our farm stay. https://www.nbcnews.com//why-scientists-say-experiencing-a

19.01.2022 I originally started this page when my dad died and then a redundancy was looming. Both had quite an impact on me and I thought I might be able to help others....then I got busy. I realize now many people would be in both those situations. What I would like to know is how I can help you best? I am still busy, but would like to help. What would you like to see? What aren't you already getting from other Facebook pages? Let me know what would help. Sharing of positive stories?, Inspiring quotes? Strategies that I have used that have helped me? What? I look forward to seeing your comments.

19.01.2022 When life gets tough, a loving hug from dad can make a world of a difference.

19.01.2022 Love learning new skills and brushing the dust off old skills I had thought lost. Learning I think is the best investment you can make in yourself - you never truly lose what you learn. Years ago so I could manage volumes of data in my job I learnt access and advanced excel. Now faced with volumes of data in my current job instead of it being labour intensive I use access and advanced excel to automatically update, combine data sets and enable data analysis. You perhaps didn't realise how geeky I actually am.

17.01.2022 'Finn's Law' comes into effect today, which ensures criminals who attack police dogs and horses face much harsher sentences. Fantastic news Fabulous Finn

12.01.2022 I didn't realise his connection to Australia.

11.01.2022 I have a vision board. Nearly everything on it has come true. I also recommend a journal where you acknowledge steps you have taken towards your goals that prove you have taken action and it's working and record learnings along the way.

08.01.2022 Suddenly he leapt straight in the air. Although my gelding has a tendency to be a little melodramatic (the term Drama Queen comes to mind) I couldn't figure out what had caused this latest burst. Muttering, "Where did that come from" my companion on this trail ride pointed. Where we had just ridden was a black snack. I get the shivers when I see the slithers! 07.01.2022 Fat - I thought I was fat when I was 20. I've altered my perspective now (I've altered my view on what old age is too)! Compared to today, I was a greyhound in my 20s. While the kilos have been sneaking up on me over the years, all of a sudden they just seemed to multiply exponentially. I went to Curves 3 times a week for about 6 months. 06.01.2022 Astro Tourism is a new term to me - but one of the pleasures we have been providing to our guests for years, without even knowing it had it's own term. It was one of the first things we noticed when we first moved out to the farm - "Wow look at all those stars. Where have they been?" Later my cousin came for a visit and she is a little more observant - "Wow. [ 123 more words ] https://attungaparkfarmstay.wordpress.com///astro-tourism/

05.01.2022 I've travelled down a few dead ends and had to find a new route.

05.01.2022 The age I should have started. Has a pretty good seat for one so young.

01.01.2022 Don't worry if you're not even sure whether it will work out as you envisaged. Better to give it a go rather than always wonder.

01.01.2022 I'm sure I was probably given this advice more than once, but I seem to have to be exposed to an idea more than once for me to truly recognise its value. I'm sharing it with you now because I have found it to be the best advice that definitely helps in stressful situations. Last year was probably one of my most stressful years ever.
