09.01.2022 Yes, we are OPEN.... Chiropractic care has been considered an essential service. Because of this, we are currently OPEN as usual. The role chiropractic has to play in the current climate is one of importance -... bearing the load and reducing an influx of certain complaints that may have otherwise called for a visit to the local GPs, or the emergency department. Please note that during this time we will continue to strictly enforce the high cleaning and safety procedures, in addition to thorough screening protocols. Please see our previous statement about when it is not appropriate for you to present to our Centre. We are receiving constant updates and information from the Australian Health Department and Australian Chiropractors Association. We look forward to continuing to deliver care to our community and do whatever we can to help during this time.

08.01.2022 Practice Update Dear Patients, We hope that you are keeping yourself and your family well at this time, and have been using the weekend to stay local and maybe read a book or learn a new skill at home. ... In keeping with the Australian Government Department of Health recommendations, chiropractors (and other allied health professionals), have been asked to remain OPEN, so that we can continue to support the function and mobility of our patients, and reduce any future stress on GP and emergency services at this time. Some things will be different: You will notice that when you make an appointment there will be extra questions asked on the phone and also at the reception desk to screen potential COVID-19 cases. You will also notice that our reception chairs are more spaced out, that your reception staff may be rotating their shifts so you may meet different people on your visit, and that there is of course very strict hygiene measures in place. You will be expected to use hand sanitiser or wash your hands on arrival into the practice, as well as when you go into the treatment room. The practitioner or reception staff will disinfect the table and then also sanitise or hand wash their hands before seeing you. They will also open and close the door to minimize contact. There will be marks on the floor (tape) to show you where to stand at the reception area, so that you are not too close to our reception staff, and also, so that you are not too close to other patients. Please only pay with CARD, rather than cash if possible. Otherwise, our staff will need to take payment with gloves. The EFTPOS machine is wiped down between each person. The reasons to cross the border will include: * Necessary goods and services, including medical care * Care or other compassionate reasons * Work (whether paid or voluntary, including for charitable or religious purposes) * Education (including childcare or early childhood services)... * Receiving a COVID-19 vaccination * Organised/community sport and exercise connected to or organised by a club or facility.
